“I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. “PEANUT ALLERGY FAMILY!! Let me start off by saying I love love loved the ice cream here from day 1. The staff is wonderful and super attentive, but last night was above and beyond. I went for dessert with my oldest son and wanted to bring some back for my 8 month old to share with me. We just discovered my 8 month old has a peanut allergy and we aren’t sure what other nuts he might be allergic to yet. I told the staff all of this. The gentleman who made my order went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that ice cream was safe to share with him (of course I know there are no guarantees when you are eating out). I can’t tell you how much that meant to me since allergies like this are new to my family and I. I cannot thank them enough!! They gained a customer for life.“

“First time dining here after Fall apple picking at Alstede Farms (nightmare experience waiting in the never end queue, not recommended!). BUT, we were glad we found this Thai restaurant. Since everyone in our party wanted to eat something hot and not just another salad or sandwich. Thai Kitchen did not disappoint in all categories. We had the Roti, Red Curry, Thai Chicken Fried Rice, Pad Kee Mao, Tom Ka Gao soup, and iceberg lettuce with chopped tofu appetizer. What more can you ask for? Simply good attentive service, excellent Thai food taste and fresh ingredients, and an overall clean restaurant to boot! Must try their Thai spice level 4 or higher! (1 is default with the lowest spice and 5 is hottest)“

“Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“

“We ate at Black Forest Inn tonight. We did not realize a reservation was needed tonight as we are not in area. We were still accommodated by a friendly staff, service was very efficient, quick with refill with drinks. I love the decor of the restaurant. The experience is great. Food is amazingly. Our waitress Yuly, excellent, friendly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our lunch. The manager, Tai, also stopped by to check on us and made sure we were happy, which was such a nice personal touch.
