“This is such a gem! Feels like eating at grandparents’ house. Everyone is so caring and friendly. Make sure you order the traditional Taiwanese food - this is the real deal here. Everything was good - so many things they make in the house properly - fish balls, shrimp rolls, sausage etc. they even have organic dishes. You can taste the care they put into making the food. I am touched. We were so happy with the food that we ordered takeout for dinner after having lunch here. They also gave me complimentary bitter melon side dish 🥹“

“We love Origin Thai! For both my husband and I is our favorite place to eat in Morristown area. It's where we go when we need a taste of comfort or something special. Phoebe and the team are always so attentive and the food is always super fresh.They are helpful with navigating allergies too.

We love either takeout or dining in just the 3 of us or with friends. Mid week or weekend!

The servers make sure your needs are met without being overbearing. The drink/cocktail selection is always amazing and lead bartender, Eric, is beyond excellent. Can't wait to go back again.“

“Had a wonderful dining experience with polite and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The Malay and Thai food was excellent with great flavors and freshness.

For appetizers, we ordered the veg roti canai, veg fried dumplings, and papaya salad, all were delicious and a perfect start to the meal. I am a vegetarian and I love roti canai but most places add chicken broth to it, so I am not able to eat it. I was so pleasantly surprised that this restaurant has a vegetarian version. It was so good that we ordered another plate of roti canai. For the main course, we tried the Thai basil, Thai pineapple curry, and chilli chicken. The Thai basil and pineapple curry were especially flavorful and paired very well with rice.

The only slight disappointment was my husband's order of chilli chicken, which turned out to be a dry entrée and not the best choice to have with rice but it was on us for not confirming before ordering.

Overall, the food, service, and experience were excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place for great Malay and Thai cuisine. I definitely want to go back for another round of roti canai.“

“Love coming here whenever I need something quick and filling. I usually go for the burrito box with chips and it always hits the spot. The friendly atmosphere behind the counter always keeps me coming back though. A greeting from Will behind the counter is like meeting a town celebrity. He knows every face that walks through that door, it’s pretty entertaining to watch.“

It’s was about 30 min drive home but still hot and fresh. NOTE:use street parking. I parked in train station area and paid $7 for the hour. I think it’s only $1-$2 to park on street. “My family has been coming here weekly for about 3 years now. The staff is extremely friendly, and they always talk to and play with our children (2 and 4). We always do sushi, but our kids do the udon noodles and sometimes the sesame/general tso chicken and we have not been disappointed. We recommend this restaurant to everyone.“
