I went out of my way to go here after researching good food spots in Jersey city for after a visit to liberty science center. Glad we did. The guy behind the counter was funny, helpful and kind- he helped me choose what I wanted. I ended up with stewed chicken, rice and beans and a side of beans. There were no empanadas ( bc I went later in the day ). Honestly I ate this cold and it was bomb- I bet tomorrow when I finish it heated up, it will be even better. The beans were phenomenal...
Extremely good DR style red snapper. Chill vibes, very nice people. Very very clean. The chef clearly takes a lot of pride in both his work in the kitchen and the presentation of his restaurant.
Their food is so fresh and delicious. Their customer service is very polite and friendly. I remember I left out the restaurant and got in my car and my sister dropped her whole tray of food in my car and I went back in and told the Cashier and she insisted on helping me clean out my entire front seat and helped me get all of the food out of my car. Then, if that wasn't kind enough, she then proceeded to give my sister a whole free new platter on the house. She was so humble...
