One of the chillest spots in Jersey City.
I’ve stopped by Grace O’Malley’s a couple times while staying overnight in the area, and it’s hands down one of the best bars around. Great atmosphere, friendly bartenders, and a solid crowd. The Old Fashioned was spot on. Right in the heart of the party district, but feels more relaxed than some of the louder spots nearby. If I’m back in Jersey City, I’ll definitely return.

The food here is SO GOOD! Traditional Irish food really blew us away. This is the perfect place to have a shepards pie in the winter along with a traditional Guinness. Love the proximity to have a view of the New York skyline and so many other cool features in Jersey city!

Traditional Irish pub with all the drinks and food you'd expect from a pub. Always has an important sports game on

Typical US pub. Can't knock it.

My experience at this bar was a little irritating and uncomfortable. It is mainly a white bar so you find that crowd here, however there are openly racist people in that bunch. A table behind me kept saying the N word and it was very inappropriate. The service was poor, our server was great and kind but they messed up our food after 45 min of waiting and being forgotten about upon arrival. Won’t be returning after said experience

I wish they'd move to Washington Heights. One of my favorite places in JC, and one of our favorite casual date spots.

Really nice bar. Staff are all very good. Special mention for JC who pours the best pint of Guinness around

Grace O’Malley’s is an awesome spot right across from Porta on Grove—super convenient and a perfect place to crush some beers and catch a game. It’s got that classic Irish pub feel: no frills, just a solid, welcoming atmosphere.
Drink prices are great, especially for the area, and the staff was friendly and on point the whole time. We didn’t try the food this time, but we’ll definitely be back for it soon.
If you’re after a chill vibe, cold beer, and a place to hang with friends or watch some sports, Grace O’Malley’s is a no-brainer.
