“I arrived during the slower afternoon period. Their dishes impressed me more than I anticipated. Gorkhali - Brooklyn created moments that felt like culinary sorcery! Employees provided steady, superior attention. The quality corresponds to the price.“

“We are so excited that this amazing Tibetan restaurant reopened in a new location after the original location burned down in February 2021. The support of the community helped make it possible for them to continue serving delicious food in Jackson Heights. It’s as good as we remember, and the staff members are so kind. Please support our favorite Tibetan restaurant if you have the chance. You won’t regret it! 🥰“

“This is certainly a hidden gem in the area. From the welcoming staff to amazing, delicious food it was a great experience. The food portions for the price are outstanding. The menu is also very extensive with many choices and options. We enjoyed the samosas and much more. The homemade sauces were also delicious. Highly recommend this wonderful place.“

“I usually don't review places that I love this much for fear that it will become overcrowded in time. But I also don't want this place to ever go out of business. Well, not the best Tibetan restaurant I've been to, it is very good, especially for the cost. A great addition to the neighborhood. The portions are adequate enough to leave satisfied, but if you're extremely hungry, you'll want some appetizers. Parking in the neighborhood is okay and it's literally next to the Q train. A true find and a hole in the wall that you'll walk by a few times before you realize it's there. Seating is limited and not recommended for large parties.
The servers are pleasant, but they should warn typical Americans expectations that the appetizers don't always come before the meal due to the cooking time.
Last I ordered The Mango Chicken, which was excellent and the vegan momos which weren't as flavorful as I would have hoped. The chili dishes are excellent.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty to choose from for vegetarians and vegans.
Parking: Street parking is adequate.“

“Wonderful meal, had the vegetable Thali and really enjoyed the meal. The menu has a large selection and they also had a buffet option. Decor is simple and not extravagant but you will not notice that while eating, flavours are definitely unique and different, reflecting the Nepalise style of cooking.“
