Sadly I’ve been sick since the day I went there and it won’t go away. Idk what happened there

Such a cute, cozy spot! Food was amazinggg! I’m picky (and also Italian LOL) so sometimes I can be hard to please but everything was perfect, including the cocktails. Also they knew it was my birthday because of our OpenTable reservation and sang to me + brought out dessert. I definitely didn’t expect it! Attention to detail is everything & they nailed ittt

Amazing food, amazing talent — what an incredible feast. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Everything was absolutely delicious, but the branzino was truly outstanding. I’m still thinking about it! Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Came here to celebrate mother’s day early and I can say that the presentation of dishes, drinks, and atmosphere were great. The place was clean too. Service wasn't too bad except there wasn't check ups on how we are doing, we had to retrieve the server to get the check and then weren't asked overall how was our meal. However, none of us finished our food. We took it with us and didn't complain about the food. All of the dishes were spicy, my mom had their chicken piccata and she didn't even take it home with us and only took like 3 bites. My spicy vodka pasta was too spicy, a little spice is cool but when you over do it you cant even enjoy the food its self. My son ordered a chicken fettuccine Alfredo and for $30 he didn't even eat that, the chicken was spicy. I am not sure who was in the kitchen but yeah there was just too much spice (pepper flakes and pepper) in all of the entrees, even things that weren't meant to be spicy. There is also not a kids menu there. All in all it was a waste of money for us. Especially to take my mom here to celebrate mother’s day, I spent almost $300 and was not satisfied and still had to go find something else to eat. It put a damper on our supposed to be celebration. I will not be back.

Upon entering you're immersed in a warm and an effortlessly cool space. Food is flavorful with portions you can share. There was gentleman welcomed everyone in, and approached my man with a handshake prior to bringing us to the table. This was the owner, Mark. He represents a quality that is seen in every facet of the restaurant.

Went for brunch at 2:40 pm on a Sunday. We were aware the kitchen was closing at 3 but they accepted our booking anyway. Ordered bacon eggs and grits. The eggs looked horrible and the bacon was so undercooked , there was a very gamey/ raw after taste. So it was either undercooked or bad meat. The grits were better and the biscuit was ok.

Not sure how an Italian restaurant manages to serve an Americano in a glass mug but clearly that was the least of the problems.

We got the impression asking to have the food corrected was not an option due to the restaurant clearing out and staff busy talking about the last person that was fired.

Never again.

Food here was good and the owner is great however the waiter we were assigned was rude and rushed everything. I didn’t receive a service that I was content with.

This is the first restaurant I went to since I’ve moved to journal square. I love Italian food and I’m glad I went here. Service was good. The food was amazing. The waiter recommended the McGinley pizza and let me tell you, it was 10/10. The sweetness of the hot honey was a great touch. A man, who I’m assuming is the manager, let us try the tiramisu drink on the house! Will definitely return :)

The owner is a very pleasant guy! Doesn’t seem like he knows a stranger! Wonderful food! We’re not from here but he gave us great recommendations on things to do in the area. I recommend having reservations but he did his best to accommodate us without reservations! While we waited, he found space at the bar for us to enjoy a drink and appetizers. All around fantastic experience! Highly recommend!
