Had an amazing experience at the Dawat dinner. The food was incredible and the portions were so big—they even encourage you to take home whatever you can't finish! The service was also top-tier and the evening was completely interactive. We got a breakdown of every single dish, how it was made, and how to properly eat and pair it with other items. Highly recommend trying to snag a reservation here!

I ordered via DoorDash and mentioned that I’d be taking the food all the way to San Francisco. They put in the extra effort to make sure the dishes were properly wrapped and gave me a few extra plastic bags too :) I did try some and the goat Rezala was my favourite!

I was craving some Bangladeshi flavors after seeing a few spots, but Korai Kitchen caught my eye because it felt closer to the comforting home-style cooking from the eastern Indian coast (Odisha) that I grew up with. I was really excited to try their Bangla biryani — and yes, I was secretly hoping for that potato in it!
The place is this adorable small spot that was completely packed when I visited. I quickly learned they book up weeks in...
