There are a few dishes that simply sustain my life. The karage curry rice from Menya Sandaime is one. It’s one of many delicious things on the menu. The owner works so hard and the service is fast and great. Unbelievable value, I bring visiting friends here.
They added bimbimbap to the menu and I’m seriously addicted. I need to have it at least once a week!! June is very kind, threw in some extras without even asking. Highly recommend!
Very glad to have this place near work. Easily the best Japanese food in Newport and a lunchtime staple for me and many others. The staff are great and food comes out quickly but that doesn’t mean they compromise on quality. Katsy Curry Don is my go-to, in my opinion it’s the best meal in Newport.
