Very glad to have this place near work. Easily the best Japanese food in Newport and a lunchtime staple for me and many others. The staff are great and food comes out quickly but that doesn’t mean they compromise on quality. Katsy Curry Don is my go-to, in my opinion it’s the best meal in Newport.
I had the tonkatsu ramen and Pork buns. The buns were good but I felt the ramen was just OK. I'd be willing to try other things off their menu. There was no one else eating here when I went around 5 PM, and most people just ordered carry out. So it was not busy.
The food is always super tasty! My personal favorite is the kaarage curry rice but everything I've tried from here has been great. The food is served fast and fresh. The people are also very nice and welcoming. Overall I always have a good time coming here and I 100% recommend it.
