Came here with some of my friends last week and we had a great meal. We got burgers, fries and some other meats. Now all 3 of my friends that came r Allison, bob, and Matt. They all work in an office and sit at a cubical all day. They definitely appreciate me taking them for dinner. Hadn't been in quite a few years, probably over 5, and was glad to find that nothing had changed. The music was great. I think there's a juke box but i don't remember. We were sitting at a table and didn't go walking around on the bar side. Was glad to introduce friends who are moving to JC to the place. I can't wait to have their burgers back in my regular rotation.
New to the area and wanted a beer and burger so I Yelped this place. Drove past and wasn't sure I wanted to go in as the area around was very seedy, and the tavern had no sign out front and was really run down looking. However, I decided to go in with my boyfriend. The food was awesome and the service was great!! A must try, but bring Cash, it's a cash only place. Chili and Pastrami were great too!
