“I came about this restaurant driving on the 440 in Jersey City and looking for something to eat and Walla I found my to go place, whenever I want to eat Vietnamese food this is my place to go! Love the Food, the workers very friendly and the atmosphere. I have been there numerous of time and will continue to go there. I love their Mi Hoanh Thanh, Pho Tom, Pad Kee Mao with Beef,Bun Tom Nuong Cha Gio, Goi Cuon and of course their Delicious Mango smoothie to die for!!!!!! lol.“

“The food was absolutely delicious. We went for dinner. I got the bibimbop and my husband got Malaysian noodles. The staff and owner are super great and cordial. The service was fast and efficient. The overall ambiance was very pretty as well.
We would definitely come back and try their brunch menu which apparently boasts items from the owner who is a baker as well“

“Sama Street made me and my tummy happy from start to end. I'm not sure how it's such a hidden gem given the quality and creativity of the food and drinks and all around great vibe.

I showed up shortly after open to a completely empty restaurant, so the bartender, Jamie, suggested some delicious drinks (not that you can go wrong with any of them). Of the few drinks I had, my least favorite (but still solid) was the Jacket Required, which is really just a slightly modified old fashioned. Everything else was incredible - some ingredients seem out there and might might throw you off, but every drink I had was really more than just the sum of its parts.

Food was also great, especially if you're into family style meals. Skewers were cooked to perfection, bok choy wasn't just tossed in some soy sauce, flat noodles were great. The sundae dessert included some of the tastiest and unique ice cream flavors I'd ever had, made in house.

Overall will definitely be back.“

“All the dishes were fantastic, but my favorite was the tandoori lamb kebab, it was absolutely delicious. The exterior was perfectly crispy, yet the meat remained tender and juicy. If you love lamb, you definitely need to try it. I ate an entire pound on my own. The guyru laghman was also great, with rich and flavorful seasoning. While the other dishes might not have been as remarkable, they were still well above average. The only thing that didn’t suit my taste was their dessert. The dessert was overly sweet, almost excessively so, though that might be their signature style. As for the service, it seems like only their daughter speaks English, but her voice is quite soft, and it feels like she’s contributing to the family business out of obligation. However, this doesn’t affect anything, I’d still go back again.“

“TLK is amazing even while transitioning locations - not only are the classics always delicious (love the peanut noodles with tofu), there are some new menu items (brussel sprouts!!) that absolutely hit the spot. If you are gluten free and dairy free it's an absolute must, if you have no allergies and like good food and great drinks it's an absolute must! Make sure you make a reservation via their website if you're going in person - which is only for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays until their new space is ready.“

“Mochi Dolci is one of my favorite places in the UWS. It's a family-owned business that TRULY CARES about the people that walk in for food, drinks, and hanging out. I love many of their #mochidonuts - classics like black sesame and taro but I love their playful ones such as fruity pebbles. Other dishes are good to such as their pork belly bao, mango salad, and dumplings. Of course, their #milktea and #bobatea are delicious. I recently tried their matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Their place is cozy and welcoming. They have a speakeasy too - I have not been, but they were kind to let me explore it (with their permission). I look forward to come back for drinks and food with friends! “My favorite little vegan restaurant in Crown Heights. I’m a regular there and every dish I’ve tasted has been a winner. My favorites are the Raw Thai Salad, BBQ Seitan Skewers, and Black Pepper Seitan. The staff is sweet and attentive, and they remember what I like. This place is a gem.“

We were able to bring a group over with us this time and they were in awe with the dishes, the decorations, and the restaurant as a whole.

“Got the spicy tuna crunchy roll, edamame, and chicken teriyaki.
The spicy tuna was pretty good! The chicken teriyaki had pieces of peanuts in it which was odd. Both that and the edamame could’ve used more salt, but overall, for the price, it was good!“

“I have been coming to this place for years and I’m sorry I’m just coming around to writing a review. It has been a favorite in the neighborhood ever since I moved here in 2020.

My most recent experience was on a Friday night. My partner and I were able to walk right in and I couldn’t believe it was empty. I do, however, get this as takeout more regularly than I do go and sit down. We were greeted immediately and we had our pick of seats. The staff quickly brought water and took our order as soon as we were ready.

First off, the dry aged beef potstickers are the absolute best I’ve had without a doubt. Juicy, tasty, perfectly crispy on the outside. If you get nothing else, get these.

We also had the Shanghai Belly noodles which were outstanding. The “worst” thing we had was a chicken bun, which was really good but couldn’t compete with the other things.

Overall, if you’re in the neighborhood please checkout this place for a quick snack or a delicious Chinese meal!“
