LuAnne's Wild Ginger Reviews
Delicious food and good value too!
This has been a staple for years. Used to get takeout all the time when I worked nearby, now I pop in whenever possible for a great sit-down meal. The fact that it's still thriving in the same location for so long is proof that it's yum.
Portions are big, it's reliably good, and the service is very attentive and courteous.
My only criticism, and this is soooooo minor, is that the restaurant decor needs a little updating.
Otherwise, this place is a solid choice...read full review

One of my favorite restaurants in all of NYC. I’m not vegan but have been coming here for years and it’s my comfort food. The dishes are unique, the service is always kind, and the prices are good. The cold green tea noodles and crispy soy protein are my favorite, but everything here is great. I hope it stays open forever.

LuAnne's Wild Ginger is a delightful vegetarian restaurant serving a variety of vegan Chinese dishes. The menu offers vibrant and authentic flavors, with options such as BBQ seitan skewers, green tea noodles, Moo Shu, and spicy ramen soup. Fresh, high-quality ingredients are showcased in dishes like the Kubocha pumpkin. The soy cutlets were a favorite appetizer, and entrees like the orange chicken and general tso’s protein were tasty. The mango protein dish was not overly sweet. Indulgent desserts, like their decadent chocolate treat, are not to be missed. With its cozy atmosphere and unique menu, LuAnne's Wild Ginger is an excellent choice for those looking to explore vegetarian cuisine or simply enjoy delicious, well-prepared food. The place is dimly lit and a little small. Service was fast, and the food was ready as soon as they walked in. They offer a decent lunch deal with an entre, soup, and pumpkin, and a brown rice option.
