The food was actually delicious! Carmella made it even better! Had a very good dinner date here with my wife and Carmela was the reason why we enjoyed our visit so much thank you Carmela. You did great. It’s hard to find service like yours nowadays.
We found a large, unappealing black chunk of old potato in our side of mashed potatoes. While the staff kindly gave us a free slice of cheesecake to compensate, they didn't really acknowledge that our experience was subpar. Instead, they just explained it away as a byproduct of making everything from scratch. A kitchen mistake is totally understandable, but a little more customer empathy and validation would have gone a long way.
Unfortunately I only tried one of their cheesecakes, cookie dough, even though they have so many different flavors that I want to try. If they had some sort of sampler that would be perfect. I will have to come back.
