The Roxy was a solid spot with a few flaws! The cocktails were excellent, however the food fell short. The bartender was great, but the place was understaffed so we were left waiting a while to order food and more drinks. Could be awesome with some refinements!
Been here twice now and it’s easily one of my favorite restaurants in Jersey City! The staff is amazing, the cocktails are always so good, and the menu feels really innovative. I love that it changes often because there’s always something new to try. Everything we’ve had has been delicious and the whole vibe of the restaurant makes you want to keep coming back. Definitely recommend!
Our server was really sweet and thorough in explaining to us questions we had about the menu. The aesthetics of The Roxy is warm, welcoming, modern, and provided a comfortable dining experience for diners both at the bar and at the table. The Ricotta Gnocchi came after about 15 minutes and was deliciously creamy, and cooked perfectly where it was both tender and provided a chewy texture which we found enjoyable.
