“We originally pulled up to the bar across the street to play pool but it was packed. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed this place. The pool table takes $1 bills, the bar tender was EXCELLENT, the drinks were reasonably priced, the bar pie was good and the outdoor deck has a ton of potential- it overlooks the marina.

I lived here for 30 + years / never knew about this place. Needless to say; I'll be back for sure“

“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

“We ordered dinner from Keelen’s tonight as we’ve done many times in the past. The two specials were incredible and our children’s food was awesome as always. The staff was very friendly and happy to help us right before closing with our late night dinner tonight. Such a friendly atmosphere with great food“

“First off so thankful to find a place in this area that is open till 2:00 a.m. on week nights, and to add to the greatness of it being a very cool joint, they have super nice staff, their food is above average for bar food. Really good food. They have the touch tunes app juke box, and actually play it loud enough to hear. They also have great bands and a dj night (I have yet to experience a DJ night). The Locals that I have met there are regulars and you can feel the family like vibe in the place. I went in alone and never felt alone, the conversations flow through the bar and they even have games like pool, ping pong and a cool ring toss game. Go to Locals, feel the vibe and you'll become a local.“

“For a hotel, it certainly was refreshing. Traveling a lot you don't always get the best food selection.

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

“in my opinion this is the best bar in Perth amboy, and I have been to plenty in qmboy. But el patio bar is a 10 great costumer service, beer really cold, the djs are always on point. I’ve been here like 5 times and they are always giving out handmade free food. The food is amazing fresh, the bar is really clean. Overall love it such a vibe, the employees treated me and my group of friends great. And also a good place to go for in the summer because they have bbqs always, and backyard is really big“

“my husband and I have been coming to mjs for years whether it's for a lunch date or dinner with our kids MJS never disappoints. the food is always on point, no matter what we get it is always delicious. a few top favorites chicken Italiano sandwich, their homemade thousand island dressing for salads is out of this world, french dip is the best i've ever had. ahi tuna app to dye for! if ur lucky enough to get Emma as your server or Bartender you will not be disappointed she is always so personable attentive knows the menu really well and makes a mean expresso martini! she treats our kids like gold and keeps them entertained. Mjs is a well oiled machine run by the best manager I've ever seen. Dyan's attention to detail and making the place feel so welcoming and having everything that comes out of the kitchen on point she makes sure the servers and bartenders are very well trained. if she's there working she is always there greeting the guests and helping the staff make sure every guest has an amazing experience.She will also help you throw a sweet party and works with you to keep the price within your budget while giving you the best bang for your buck. she does an amazing job transforming the dining area into a great party space. “I’ve been going to W’s for years now. The burgers and wings are off the hook good. The waitress can’t do enough for you.
