“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

We went for the Halloween party, and they absolutely nailed it. The band was fantastic, the music was excellent, and the whole place had this awesome ‘80s throwback feel — from the décor to the energy. The food came out fast, tasted great, and the prices were very reasonable. The Halloween-themed drinks were creative and fun, and the bar staff was quick, smiling, and clearly enjoying the night. The place was packed but still felt friendly and comfortable — we ended up meeting so many great people. You can tell The Rock House puts a lot of heart into what they do. “Came with friends to Portside to surprise my friend, Michael Cappetto, who was performing that night. Was never here before but I have to say the food was awesome, as was the entertainment! Michael is an amazing singer / guitarist and I highly suggest going to Portside to see him and have some fantastic food!“

“For a hotel, it certainly was refreshing. Traveling a lot you don't always get the best food selection.

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

Mjs is a well oiled machine run by the best manager I've ever seen. “in my opinion this is the best bar in Perth amboy, and I have been to plenty in qmboy. But el patio bar is a 10 great costumer service, beer really cold, the djs are always on point. I’ve been here like 5 times and they are always giving out handmade free food. The food is amazing fresh, the bar is really clean. Overall love it such a vibe, the employees treated me and my group of friends great. And also a good place to go for in the summer because they have bbqs always, and backyard is really big“
