“We’re regulars at the bar here. Always great food drink and service. That’s why I decided to have them cater and host our event at their “Picketts Upstairs” . We had a group of fifty. Spacious good looking room. Our own bar and bartender. Food was outstanding, not your typical buffet. And staff never let things run out. Hot and fresh until everyone was satisfied. Amazing service and quality. HIGHLY recommend Picketts!!“

“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

“I went to this place in a clutch. Wanted some food and a drink after a late show at NJPAC in Newark after midnight. It is bar food; jalapeño poppers, wings, burger, etc but very good. The bartender was courteous and despite it appeared most patrons were usuals, we were treated well being it was a first time for us there.“

“Went early on a Sunday when it was raining. While the parking lot isn't the best, the food is.

I got the Kimchi burger and it was a very good size.
They cook it to perfection exactly as you request it.
Fries were good.
Onion rings were actual onion rings. Not that minced onion paste some places do.

“This was my fourth time ordering pizza, each of the pies were cooked like I asked and each one tasted the same, good flavor and crunch, just how I like them. The staff are very friendly and courteous, seems to be a friendly atmosphere , all seem to be having a nice time. Plenty of tv’s. One I’ll have to sit and eat there. “Decades ago, I ate at this location weekly when it was "Eddie's Long Bar". I visited Pour Abbey's a few times. The inside has been COMPLETELY changed for the better. The food is very good and the service excellent. I am not in the area often but will stop here when possible. Well Done!“

“Tankys is the spot! These people in the comments below complaining about it being unsafe just have nothing better to do. Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. To the ppl complaint about it being loud in open late, you have the power to move to another place you knew where you were moving to when you moved there tankys has been there my whole lifeThe drinks are strong and cheap, the vibe is chill, older crowd, when they have a DJ the music is good, u can bring food in, and they have a lil pool table and a parking lot. I been going to tankys for year and never had a bad experience. Occasionally the bartenders be too busy to get to me and I’ll get tired of waiting and leave but that’s all rare.“

Firstly, I don’t like that surcharge and secondly, I have not seen establishments charge 4% so that seemed excessive.“

“Good place for a complete meal at a fair price. Brazilian restaurant located in Newark - NJ, with good structure, good service and pleasant space. The menu is quite diverse and can please different audiences, the portions are large and serve one person very well. Every day of the week there is a meal option at a more affordable price, it's worth checking out.“

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

The food was actually good (it don’t have to be the best in NJ but it was the best there lol) , the body mirrors everywhere make you want to take pictures all night , the scenery is definitely a scenery you would want to be apart of & the place is definitely a good vibe … There is two sides and two DJs playing different music inside the club … On either side you will definitely enjoy yourself … There was excellent customer service but the service can be slow at the bars due to it being busy but overall this is definitely a club/Bar Restaurant I will be returning too ‼“

“We stopped in for dinner at Chrone’s Trattoria to try the food since it’s under new management now. It was SO good!! I got the Greek salad with chicken cutlet and onion rings. “Had many family parties here and repasts. The food is very good. Issue is the last time I was there, 18 people birthday party, the service was very very poor. People waited for the coffee order for 2 hours. Asked for decaf tea and they received camomile. Waited an hour for decaf tea bag. Also, I bought a birthday cake and waited over an hour for it to be brought out and people in our party was leaving. Other issue. If you put down deposit for party, KEEP the receipt! I forgot about my deposit and apparently so did Conga and after going there with receipts and credit cards, calling, it too over 2 weeks to get deposited credited to my bank account. Just be diligent if you have a party and keep on top of your waiter/waitress. Tip Was included in total cost and there was no way the waitress deserved the amount they added to my bill! All in all, want a sandwich, dinner, cafe or dessert, food and service is very good. We will go back. But will be more on top of things if I have another party.“

“By far the best sporting date I took myself on thus far. A bit tight to eat when someone is next to you but A1 service. Everyone was very professional. The food prime rib was a bit cold but tasty while the mini donuts for dessert were excellent. I do not believe I will ever watch another hockey game from general seats while by myself again. Now I must look into these types of seats for other events. #Spolied

“Golda was the best part of our day. Our flights were cancelled and we were stuck in New York another day. Our original bartender was not so great and we waited over 30 minutes to get served at the bar. Golda showed up and served us right away. We got a variety of drinks and she did such a good job with every drink.“
