Only once my steak was gummy but besides that always left happy. The staff is always so nice and polite! “It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. “We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! They greeted and welcomed me in and even explained what certain food on their menu were so I don’t see what makes them have bad customer service. Now let’s get to the food part. I ordered their mixed grill which had three different types of spiced chicken. The chicken had so much flavor it was spiced and cooked to perfection. Overall the food and customer service were outstanding. If you’re in the area and looki by for delicious Afgan/kabob food this is the place to go. “We went to dine with this rag tag restaurant and the experience was awful. The waitress had no teeth and asked my son for his? At first we thought “hey maybe they are joking” then all of a sudden. They lady grabbed his front bicuspid. Needless to say - at that point we were concerned. Because we had a long day we were still hungry. So we stuck around. The next thing you know. The toothless individual brought another toothless friend and tried to get my tooth as well. At that point. We know. Time to get out of here. We were cooked. Unlike the food at this gross place.“

This place is a 10/10 all around and such a hidden gem.

We got the light soup and the peanut soup with fufu, plus the jollof and the kelewele, and every bit of it was a *chefs kiss*.

Michael is one of the kindest people. I had my toddler with me and he offered to bring our food out to the car since it would be a 15 minute wait and I really appreciated his thoughtfulness.

What I love about the food here is that they include so many vegetables in the recipe. So you basically get a great portion of meat and veggies together .
