“Little difficult to find the place. Went for lunch. Had the 4 kinds of tacos: chicken,short rib, beef, lamb. Also the fries which were crisp. and had 4 kinds of dipping sauce. Got the steak sandwich for my daughter. She loved hers. We loved the fries and tacos. manager was friendly and explained our options. I missed having Mexican. MOstly you get pizza, bagels Israeli style , and steak restaurants.”

I went with 4 other people and ordered a steak which was okay, tasty but nothing crazy. When your paying their prices, a satisfactory steak just doesn’t cut it.
The design? Meh. And this was before all the competition came around. Now you really gotta up your game.
Not impressed by the ambience.
The service was ok too.
Listen though, I walked out with a full stomach, and that, my friend, always deserves 4 stars.”

“The other day my friends and I had the pleasure of eating at the Langhorn Steakhouse on Rt 70 in Lakewood. The meals were more than reasonably priced, and they were delicious. The staff was attentive, extremely friendly and courteous. Ty, the host, met us so amiably and showed us to our table. The server, Sharon B., was so attentive we never had to ask her for anything. Anything we needed she was right there to give it to us. We couldn't have asked for more.”

BYOB,Good Food with a nice presentation, Spicy Salsa!

This is one of the only places in the area to find Mole Oaxaqueno, the spicy chocolate sauce, with dozens of ingredients in it. It has nuts in it so avoid if allergic to nuts.

The Enchildas de Mole Oaxaqueno con Pollo ( chicken ) was very good, of course comes with rice, beans, and salsa verde (green) and roja (red). Delicious!!! Good portions! The rice and beans were tasty.

Server although not overly friendly, was attentive.

Cons: Street parking can be tight.
Bathroom could definitely be maintained cleaner, hand dryer not working and no paper towels.

“This is an authentic as you can get in this area… this isn’t your typical sit down restaurant though. The finest Mexican, and indeed some of the finest tasting food I’ve ever had. Been going for years. They have Prepared hot bar of 2 or 3 choices of meat or sometimes eggs in different sauces, and the plater comes with rice, beans, and tortillas.
Otherwise you can order anything off the menu. The Tortas are particularly good if you order, however it is usually hard to pass up what they are serving.”

“This little convenience store looks like it was airlifted straight out of Mexico and dropped here sometime in the 90s. The floor tiles haven't aged a day, the fridges buzz like mariachi instruments, and some of the canned goods look like they've been patiently waiting for a buyer since the Clinton years.

The shelves are a mix of absolute gems and complete mysteries: sodas in glass bottles colder than an ice bath, snacks you won't find anywhere else in town, cleaning products that could probably remove car paint, and a random corner shrine for good measure.

It's not fancy, it's not modern, and it definitely doesn't follow any retail handbook-but that's the charm. It's the kind of place where you come for a bag of chips and leave feeling like you just traveled across the border without moving a mile.”

“The food is great! Pizza is always fresh and tasty. Though I'm very into good fries but unfortunately, these are the standard frozen ripple cut fries. So that's a bummer. Tend to avoid ordering such fries. I find the crispy and straight cut fries taste better. Vs those rippled cut fries which don't taste too good.

I love the ketchup pump/cups, which are easy for kids to dispense ketchup and be a big help when dining out.

Another thing I find interesting. When it comes to fountain soda. I get they charge you $3 or more for a fountain soda. Now, personally, if I had an eatery, that's the first thing I would change and follow the costco trend where they allow unlimited drink refill if you purchased the $0.65 cup. (Lol $0.65). But at least offer some type of refill idea. Even charging $.50, the customer has a cup, straw, and cover. So, all they are paying for is a tad of syrup that's being used.
