“Fortunate, we are, to have this bakery in Lambertville. Everything we have tasted is superb and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with limited seating. We almost always run into a friend or two, coming or going.We have enjoyed speaking with Ellen on numerous occasions and she epitomizes the perfect person to represent an establishment in the absence of the owner/head baker.At our last visit, Ellen suggested the Deviled Egg spread on a bagel (versus sour dough) which was like none we’ve ever before tasted. I literally cried when I saw the cake it was so beautiful ❤️ The staff are all amazing and so nice to work with. “Today was my first visit to L’Annexe, after visiting the Newtown location many times. It was delightful - much like Isabelle herself! She shared the significance of the day today as we indulged in the delicious crepes. My daughter confirmed the Nutella crepe was the best she ever had.. and she’s a tough critic, too. We will definitely be back to try the variety of gorgeous pastries and lovely conversation.“

“I recently purchased cream filled donuts, cherry crumb, pie, and apple caramel walnut pie. Everything and I mean everything is delicious.! The cherry pie reminds me of my mom’s homemade. I thoroughly enjoyed the cream donuts. It’s my favorite donut from when I was a child. Many bakeries have closed over the years so it’s hard to find one that meets my expectations. “An unexpected gem!
First thing - I found this place because of a mention on Reddit. I called on Friday to see if they could make a Red Velvet cake for my birthday.. the next day. I did not expect the girl on the phone to say that they could have it ready for pickup by noon the next day, especially because a lot of places I called requested at least a few days. That was the best news.
Second - Their site showed that they sold Red Velvet Cheesecake Tortes versus regular Red Velvet cakes so I ordered that. I’m so glad I did because it tasted delicious. It was beyond what I expected. The red velvet was not dry, icing was on point, and the cheesecake was soo smooth. It was a perfect combination.
I’ll definitely be back.

“I was beyond disappointed with my son's graduation cake. The frosting was so thin you could see the cake through it, the fondant was bleeding color and you could see the edges of it, everything was messy, the numbers were falling off. I can not believe that the same person made this cake as those in the pictures on the website. It looked terrible and it didnt taste great either. I can't believe I actually paid for this cake.“
