“Love this place. It's the one of the last classic diners in the Trenton area. Old school service with great menu choices. Awesome for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Go for regular diner food or the special. Note: the meatloaf special with gravy is always tops.“
“Have not been here in quite a while, stopped in for lunch and it was still as delicious as it was years ago. The burgers are huge and flavorful. The hot turkey sandwich was also huge and the gravy was delicious. Plenty of choices for everyone classic comfort food you always expect that a good diner. Service was awesome, inside is warm and inviting.“
“It wasn't too busy when I went. Actually, it was well after lunch. They seated me right away and brought my drink out immediately after taking my order. Service was good, and the food was even better. Didn't take long for them to serve me. Waitress kept checking in with me, as one should expect. I highly recommend this establishment for those of you looking for place of comfort as you dine with friends, family, or casual encounters with coworkers.“
“More food than you can eat in one seating! Quick seating. Great staff! Will be back again! Alicia was a Great waitress and would ask for her! She was always ahead of what we needed! Keep up the Great service!!!!Parking: Was plenty of spots for a Friday night!“
“Love it here! Service is friendly, great food that comes out in a timely manner - can’t go wrong with whatever you order. Love the classic diner look. Plenty of free parking in the lot. I especially love coming here around the holidays when a local woman makes gifts that have cute mugs and goodies inside - perfect and inexpensive! I still have my snowman mug from a couple years ago!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for convenience.“
“This place is amazing! It used to be on the main drag many years ago, but somehow it lasted over the years. It has great food and super friendly staff. We went in there and I told them that we have never been here before. The server walked us through all the items on the menu and was very friendly. On the menu they have interesting items that you would not expect at a diner. I had a cajon dish that had crab and eggs. It was great. There are a lot more options too.Inside the restaurant it is still decorated in the old 1950s style. It has cast aluminum fixtures including doors and trim along the bar. It has classic styling that has years of use, but the restaurant is still clean and in good condition. In one of my photos notice the old table top and the old plastic leather chairs from the 1950s. It is really neat to see this all still in use today.Parking: The parking lot is large and has room to turn around.“
“I grew up in Chambersburg section here in Trenton nj, Been to most of the Legendary and Best restaurants and mom n pop little Delis in South Trenton, Tatoni's , Cesars , Angelo Tamara's, Porfirio s, Amicis, La Gandola, Creccos, Blue Danube, Pete's, Delo's, Papa's and now Im adding on Pat's Diner South Broad Street ? New owner has the Place so Friggin clean! Noticebly Different!! Same old Pat's dont get it mixed up. I couldn't see a spec of dust in the place, counters sparkling, glass shining, floors you can eat off of, super clean kitchen from where my girl and I were sitting. Most Important, the food was "Mind Blowingly Fresh, homemade to order, pot roast special completew/ soup to salad 2 vegetables and desert included and The BestCorn beef Reuben Ive ever eaten in My Life !!!! Seriously, UnFriggin Believable. I got up from my table to introduce myself to the female owner and she was super nice soft spoken n seemed very humble. The thing I took notice to was her attention in overseeing the running of the Diner. There seemed to be a general level of respect between the staff and owner which is rather rare to witness and feel when youre in a business today. We didn't feel rushed at all to get the table " Turned Over" and thoroughly appreciated that. Im taking the time to explain this experience to those of you that are blessed to have taken your time to read it because I think its so very very crucial to our existence to know that there are people and places Still in Existence Today that show up and are of service to other still doing it with Dignity Respect and Honor. I wont do a comparison to the few surrounding diner's Because I dont need to. Visit Pat's Diner on South Broad Street and see for yourself precisely what I Described and I'm ? that you'll have yourself a "New Diner" you can Thank me when you see me there - One of them BurgerBits“
“Food was delicious and plentiful. Very friendly staff and waitresses. The eggplant was fried and freshly made as a side with tomato sauce.Turkey was moist and tender, stuffing really good, gravy and cranberry sauce. We really enjoyed our meal and had to take it home , more than enough for two meals. Will be back.“
“I love New Jersey diners. Soooo much quality food for a decent price. This building is a little bit outdated but the service was immaculate. The waitress was friendly and the food was delivered quickly. I would absolutely recommend this place.“
“The Town and Country diner has been a landmark in Borden Town for decades....Great place for meetings.....Good standard diner fare is served for a reasonable price....The atmosphere at Town and Country diner is what one has come to expect from the NJ diner.... Clean but far from austentatious the decor is reminiscent of the seventies...but clean...The Town and Country diner has several dining rooms making group accomodation more possible. The price is reasonable...while everyone's prices have skyrocketed during COVID, these have as well, but not to an outlandish degree.I would definitely go there again in the future..Parking: Diner has an adequate parking lot.Kid-friendliness: As most diners, the Town and Country diner is kid friendly...Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for wheelchair accessibility“
“Went here for the first time. Had the half sandwich (chicken salad), fries, and creamy chicken soup. All were terrific. Staff is super friendly, service was quick, and no pressure to leave after eating. The decor is fitting to the vibe and adds to the charm. Go try this little gem. You will want to go back again once you do!!“
“Several times tried to order over the phone but line sounded busy. Then once I called, someone answered did not speak, I was able to hear them talking and then hung up on me so I called again and line busy. While was on the phone I was on my way to the store and still on the line when I got there I asked if the telephone worked. The elderly lady looked at me for a few seconds and they all laughed and said the phone doesnt work. So I ordered there while noticing restaurant had only one customer. No excuse to say they had their hands full with customers. While waiting the phone rang and they proceeded to answer it. Funny that just 3 minutes before they told me phone was out of service.“
“Food was nicely cooked and arrived hot (as both meals should have.) A delicious cup of soup was included with each lunch special. I was very disappointed when I was told that I would be charged for an iced tea refill. I wonder if they charge for a second cup of coffee with breakfast in the mornings?“
“It is what you make of it. Typical dining hall food. Not very good quality. Meat is usually dry and overcooked and the salad bar gets very repetitive and oftentimes soggy, but the soft serve ice cream machine is great. The music/radio is so loud though, makes for an unenjoyable atmosphere.“
