“Lots of pizza places to choose from in Long Valley, but this is our go-to. Love their pizza! And staff so friendly. For the 3rd year in a row, they let the middle school play have their cast party there. The kids run around on the grass and pizza and drink soda. Pizza has long been consumed, but they let us stay and celebrate and eat cake long after they have closed. Very supportive of kids and the community. I'm happy to recommend them!“

“Missing some ammenities. But otherwise a solid 3.5 star location. Mens room** Urgently needs renovation and expansion 1st Order of Business. I was in the restroom with just one or two people and that was at MAXIMUM capacity. 0 space to move or wash hands. Mens room also has no room for trash can, very disliked. Toilet stall also needs urgent matters. One gentleman was XXL and simply had no space in the toilet stall.
Event that evening also has no outdoor ambient music, or door concierge, umbrellas at the door were also broken, one had a hole in the clear vynle. Must replace, chairs on north side of dining area get wet. Lack of Overhead coverage. We had on-off rain half way through the event.
Parking lot is also Poorly lit. Only takes small effort to install solar lamps or some safety feature along the property. Event ended at 1030-11pm and the outdoor parking lot was sadly pitch black...needs urgent review.
Upstairs 2nd floor in the upper barn has no seating area, no entertainment value, photo op, Wooden blank floor.
***Notes to Management: hire a decorator and interior designer to check the final boxes and the unattended details, expand mens bathroom (Review Female restroom also).
Safety outside is paramount. Larger signage would assist highway visibility and location. NJ-Highway 173 has the traffic to bring in more eyes, opportunities & events. Use the tools in front of you.“

“We have eaten there several times and it is always delicious. We want to give special appreciation to Rachel, your manager, for her special caring and sensitivity to our needs. In today's world, where one struggles, especially if old like we are, to speak to a live human being, when you are able to converse with a person who is actually listening to what you said, this is rare. Add to that delicious fresh food and you have a winner. Tonight we had fresh large shrimps with a most delicious home made cocktail sauce. Fresh crab cakes with a fabulous remoulade, and a chocolate mousse to die for as dessert. We ordered too much and have to save some for tomorrow. We live in town, and are happy to see the names of so many out of town visitors appreciate Chesapeake Tavern.“

“What a great place, and the gentleman behind the bar was so nice! He took excellent care of us. The mixed drinks were fantastic- we got a Bloody Mary, a shot of Rye Whiskey, Harvest Tea. The gentleman even gave us some flavors of boozy ice cream to try. Highly recommend this distillery and we will definitely come back.“

“This is our third time eating here. They have great gluten free options and the staff here is great. A special shout-out to Stephanie, who's been out server several times and always takes amazing care of us!

“Happend to find this place following a Hike. What a great local place..Way better than any chain restaurant. Great atmosphere and food. Prices are reasonable as well..$10 for a bar pie? Great deal. I will definitely be going back and will bring more people for sure. This place is a Hidden Gem in Morris County, NJ.“

“I went here on Sunday, August 18th 2024 around 5pm. I was greeted by Daniel G and sat promptly as there was a notable lack of busyness. Despite the nearly empty restaurant, I had a great experience. I ordered a cheeseburger (good to note: this does not come with any toppings other than cheese if you don’t ask) cooked medium. The cheeseburger was above average, cooked how I asked, and served with delicious fries. This was a great American-style restaurant and I recommend giving it a try“
