Calabria Pizzeria & Restaurant

Got 2 slices to go and sat outside, they have a couple of tables right outside. The pizza was fantastic. I had an appointment and when I got done I figured let me give it a try, if I lived nearby this would definitely be my go to place!

I had the supreme pizza and tasted awful. Over cheesed with so much onion and random pieces of ham. It was soggy in the middle as well. Disappointing

Honestly, one of the worst Pizza joints I visited. I've had Pizza from a lot of places, but this one was pretty bad that I had to leave a review. Asked for a Buffalo Chicken Slice and a Plain and the Plain legit tasted extremely bland and like a leftover, and the Buffalo Chicken was literally just a breaded chicken strip thrown on top with minimal hot sauce. Maybe it was a bad day but again, not a good experience for me. I recommend other places in the area.

I took my son there on the way to a UFC fight at the Prudential center in Newark.

I have been wanting to try the place because we like thin crust pizza We’re a big fans at Angelini’s and Vinny’s Pan Pizza

The pizza was amazing. It wasn’t as well done as I liked, but the flavor and the sauce was spot on. I know if I order it a little bit more well done next time it’ll be even better

What was even more amazing than the pizza was their Caesar salad my son and I split it. Perfect crunchy Romaine Homemade croutons and perfect dressing.

Had an amazing dining experience at Calabria Pizzeria & Restaurant today!! Joe Ottaiano created an allergy friendly meal for our family and it was outstanding!! So grateful to Joe for his hospitality, accommodations, and delicious cuisine. Highly, highly recommend!!

Hubby is a portnoy fan and wanted to try their highly rated pizza for his birthday. Did not disappoint. Great pizza, soup, meatballs and house red wine. They were supposed to close at 8 but didn't rush us out. Let us take our time. Definitely recommend

Edit: went there again on 12 Nov. the chicken fingers were really bad, felt frozen chicken which was double fried and the service terrible. The waiter was gone after 5 min - no one to give check. Not great experience.. will take off one star. Hopefully will visit again and update.

This place is the real real! Super authentic. Super kind people. Super good pizza! You already know though. They're about to open the full dining room. It looks beautiful and it's a must! You will fall in love with this place!
