“Went for dinner. Food was very good. Pretty quick service. Out of season. Was a bit cold inside even though it was in the 60s outside and the front door was opened. The acoustics are bad. Kids screeching resonate through your ears and down your spine.
My dish was meant to have asparagus risotto, but it was white rice. 😣 Service was excellent.“

I thought it was a bit expensive, but not worried about that if they keep the quality as it was. Everyone ate everything. Fresh and not greasy. Good job.“

The ambiance and charm of the restaurant with its meticulous attention to detail translates to understated elegance. Their staff—my experience felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant and they had nothing else to do but take care of us! Our server, Cathy, was so warm and unshakable on a rather busy evening. The room managers strolled throughout the room making sure that every person was seen and noticed. “We went to the chegg many years ago, a few times, and we weren't really impressed. However, just recently we went to the chegg out in marlton and we had such a great meal that we decided to give the one on the island another shot. So glad we did. We had the best swings that we probably ever had in our life and everything else was really enjoyable. Would definitely take the time to head out there again“

Everybody loved their food and the cool lobster design in the kids pancakes were a big hit. Always great, friendly service here, fun old school diner ambience, and really solid Jersey diner food.“

Brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday’s offers $10 mimosa or bloody Mary’s for the first one then they’re $2 after the first one. Brunch is from 11am to 230pm.“

“We used the Sea Shell for our wedding venue and can’t say enough nice things about it. For starters our planners were amazing, Brittany and Jaimee were always available to answer any questions we had. They set everything up just the way we wanted. The food during cocktail hour was to die for and all of our guests raved about it. The weather wasn’t in our favor in the morning and at first we were going to do the ceremony under the tiki hut but were able to change to the sand an hour before. Dinner was also amazing and everything was delicious. The Shell made a dream come true and we can’t thank them enough.“
