In looking at places that are in the area, this one caught my eye -jamaivan in Long Branch ? So I tried it out.. and I'm so glad that I did. The food was great ! ! We got the oxtail, goat Curry, and the jerk pork fried rice.. my favorites of this trio was the goat and the pork fried rice. Cozy mom and son spot, no frills but authentic Jamaican food made to order. They order items in small quantities to ensure freshness so not everything is always available on the menu. Make sure you call ahead to see what is available. Generous portions, good for family style or sharing.

This is a really good Jamaican restaurant. There aren't that many that have a nice atmosphere inside for dining in. The food is good quality and the service is excellent. They really give you that personal touch. The fair is mostly standard Jamaican but the prices are good and the quality is good as well.
