“This Starbucks location almost never fails me. The drinks are always made close to perfection if not ACTUAL perfection. Most of the baristas are super kind, bubbly, and friendly! I have had maybe two sour experiences with a barista here before but I understand that sometimes they might be having a rough day so I never really mind. I’ll always go to this same location even if I have to drive 25 minutes to it now that moved. My go to Starbucks.“

“Stopped into 787 Coffee Co. and tried their Coquito Latte with rum-infused beans—absolutely incredible. I also grabbed a quesito, which was perfectly flaky and sweet, the ideal pairing with the coffee. The vibe in the shop was warm and inviting. As a puerto rican I felt like it was a home away from home 🇵🇷“

“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Jersey City (and believe me, there are many). The staff is so lovely, the food is fresh and delicious and reasonably priced for the quality, the drinks are fun. I've brought babies, worked here, stopped by with my dog for takeout, and sat outside, and all experiences have been great. Highly recommend Hybrid!“

“Lê Phin is a true gem in the East Village! The cozy ambiance, with its warm decor and natural light, makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy their delicious Vietnamese coffee. I highly recommend trying their signature Pandan Matcha Latte – it's a delightful blend of earthy matcha and the unique, fragrant pandan. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. For a truly immersive experience, consider using Tuneast to create a custom playlist for Lê Phin. Imagine the perfect background music enhancing the already wonderful atmosphere, allowing customers to choose their favorite songs and send messages to each other. It would be a fantastic addition!“

“The rum infused espresso is to die for… Even as a coffee enthusiast this is not something I’d seen before but it definitely made for a cool experience and made it feel like more than just your typical cafe.
Never been to a coffee shop where the staff are so friendly, genuinely left a bit shocked after having been asked to have our photo taken for the instagram!
We had a couple of the chicken empanadas too and would highly recommend!“

“I recently had the pleasure of trying the Latte and Flat White, and I must say, they were absolutely delicious!
What truly impressed me was the complex yet incredibly smooth and mellow flavor profile. It was a delightful experience for the palate. Furthermore, the latte art was flawless—a true sign of a skilled barista.
The positive experience was completed by the staff: they were witty, cheerful, and exceptionally kind, which significantly brightened my day.
I highly recommend this spot! It's a must-visit for any coffee lover.“

“There were no alligators in sight, unfortunately, but the service was excellent. Emma and Lena (I think) were very welcoming. I was the first drip coffee order of the day (this was around 4pm), but they were still accommodating. Convenient location, a crisp air temperature, a carefully curated bookshop. Bread upon request. Also milk and/or cream upon request. And bathroom upon request. Good service, whether requested or not. Would recommend“

“Coffee Project New York is hands down one of the best coffee spots I’ve ever visited in the city! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. Their baristas are incredibly skilled and friendly — they truly care about every cup they serve. I tried their signature deconstructed latte, and it was an experience in itself — rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced. The minimalist decor and chill vibe make it perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. Definitely a must-visit for true coffee lovers in NYC!“

“I stopped here on a whim driving home and I’m so glad I did. Super friendly workers who asked how I was while they were making my order and one even brought my bag of food to me as I was waiting by the front door.
We ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Chino’s Special subs to go (hero sizes). Both were incredible! The CC had a really nice kick to it and complimented the crispy chicken cutlet very well. Chino’s Special was my favorite - a messy sub with a generous helping of turkey meat with a runny egg.
My family of 3 wished we had more space in our stomachs to finish everything. The hero sized subs are large, and absolutely worth the price especially with similar restaurants charging the same, if not more, for a mediocre sub. We will be back for more!“

“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“Eccentric local cafe with tasty baked goods!
It was not too small but not big enough to have 20 people inside to sit together.
The cafe was really quiet. Vintage vibe. You can see the owner really thought about the decorations and theme for the cafe. There is no laptop policy though so it is good to read books or talk with your friends.
I got the matcha drink which was pretty good. It had a strong matcha flavor without any weird aftertaste. Walnut brownie was really good so is the cookie.
I highly recommend this place. I would like to try other baked goods and chai next time.“

“I simply LOVE this place. It not only has the best vegan sandwiches and desserts, the hospitality is amazing. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The only thing bad is that they are 45 minutes from me. I wish there was one closer to where I live. I would be going more often. I'm hoping one day they will become a franchise. I would definitely want to open a How Delish! ❤️“

“A charming little café that’s pure joy for coffee lovers craving something creative, cozy, and truly unique. Nestled on Elizabeth Street in the heart of Chinatown, Köre Coffee blends traditional Korean flair with artisanal café favorites.
Their signature tiramisu lattes—whether the classic, matcha, or black sesame Tahni version—are a delightful twist on dessert-in-a-cup and are consistently praised as rich, creamy, and balanced. The black sesame latte is a standout—savory, subtly sweet, and velvety smooth.
Pair any drink with their croffles—a buttery hybrid of croissant and waffle—offered in flavors like strawberry tiramisu or savory cheese and bacon. The everything bagel croissant filled with savory cream cheese is another local favorite that blends comfort and surprise.
Inside, seating is limited—more cozy grab‑and‑go than café lounge—but the friendly staff and quick service make the experience still feel warm and inviting. Despite their compact size, many visitors leave with a full belly and a happy heart.
While prices are on the higher side (most specialty drinks hover around $8), the quality, creativity, and charm make every dollar feel well spent.
⸻
Why it captured our hearts:
• Inventive drinks that feel like mini dessert experiences
• Unique pastries—croffles, everything-bagel croissant
• Friendly, artful service (NK Kim and family-run vibe)
• Perfect Chinatown location with handcrafted atmosphere
Whether you grabbed a tahini black sesame latte, matcha tiramisu, or a warm croffle, Köre Coffee offers something memorable for first-time visitors and seasoned coffee adventurers alike.“

“I'm glad I discovered this spot and shall definitely return!
My Caffè latte and sandwich were v good, the latter reminiscent of the baguettes jambon i used to enjoy in Paris, though a bit on the salty side. I also ordered a beignet which was less good, alas.
Service is also excellent“

“It was later that same day, between meetings and the steady hum of Midtown, when a friend and I slipped into St Kilda Coffee. A quiet refuge tucked just off 9th Avenue, the space felt like a pause button—unassuming yet deeply comforting, with an interior that leaned into simplicity rather than spectacle. Pale wood, soft lighting, and a layout that favored ease over excess—it was a kind of honesty in design that immediately set the tone.
I ordered a flat white, and though straightforward, it carried a certain clarity—smooth, balanced, with just enough strength to hold its own without overwhelming. It was the kind of cup that reminded me why simplicity, when done right, can be its own kind of sophistication.
What made the visit linger, however, was the service. Katie, who prepared and served my drink, was genuinely kind and welcoming—an energy that elevated the space in ways design alone could not. Sometimes it isn’t the coffee or even the interior that makes a café worth remembering, but the warmth of those behind the counter.
St Kilda isn’t a place that tries to dazzle; it doesn’t need to. It’s a place to exhale, to share a moment with a friend, or to find a pocket of calm before the city’s pace resumes. A reminder that, every now and then, simplicity is the most beautiful form of refinement.“
