We visited on August 8 around 4 PM, and both the food and customer service were top-notch. I brought my brother, who has disabilities, and the staff went above and beyond to make him feel welcomed and comfortable. Their kindness, patience, and overall attitude really stood out to me and made the experience special.

“Wow!! This restaurant really impressed me. Went here tonight for dinner with a girlfriend. Service was impeccable and the food was amazing. The yellowfin tuna app was the best I’ve ever had. My scallop entree was flavorful and delicious. My gf also loved her shrimp entree. Loved that instead of bringing your to go bag to your table they give u a number to grab on your way out. A+ all the way. I will be back.“

“Flavorful food here, especially their sauces! We had been looking in the area for a good Mexican spot and this is the place. Another star for being walking distance from the rock climbing gym right next door. So great for a good rock climbing sesh and great Mexican food after! Our waiters Yahir and Marilin were especially amazing! Great service and the food came out quick and hot. The horchata was especially good!“

“We chose La Colina Mexican Cantina in Warren NJ to celebrate 3 birthdays on 4/5/25. We were a party of 12 & tried a few of the beautifully crafted cocktails that were out of this world and so tasty we had to order more. We began our feast with a couple of platters of Nachos El Gordo that were huge and absolutely delicious and went perfectly with the chosen wines, margaritas, and assorted cocktails our family ordered. The cocktails were of the beautiful quality that we've only seen on TV during cooking shows or restaurant series. The edible flowers and the smoke emitting drinks were amazing. We were served by a wonderfully friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive waitress. She was able to answer every question and had plenty of patience for our crowd who were amazed by the menu. Especially the "Smart" menus that detail each item at the flip of your finger. What an upscale & impressive touch that is. After we ordered our entrees we enjoyed more cocktails and had some time to talk and enjoy the unbelievable decor that seemed to have an endless amount of thought and class put into the decor of this authentic Cantina. The service was beyond excellent and our meals came out hot and enticing and as pleasing to the eyes as it was to our pallets. This was authentic delicious, beautiful meals that made the party seem like were were enjoying fantastic Cantina style food right in Mexico. I highly recommend the burritos, enchiladas, the Mexican Caesar salad, fajitas and I'm sure that rest of the menu has to be outstanding if everything the 12 of us had was that delicious. Besides the wonderful service, drinks, food and authentic atmosphere, topping the celebration off was when the owner came over to our table , introduced himself and made sure everything was as fabulous as possible. Believe me it was. Then the Head Chef came out and asked if everything up to our expectations to which we all agreed this place out did every single Mexican restaurant we've ever been to. I highly recommend La Colina in Warren NJ and I know you won't be disappointed in the food , atmosphere or the service. We surely will be back !!!!“

“It’s seems to be slacking. The ladies restroom has no trash bin in the general area. They had toilet paper on the ground today. Most days it’s clean but not today. I do see young employees talking amongst themselves while working. Which is not a problem. But when the tables, trash buns and utensils and fresh drinks need to be refilled to refreshed. It’s a problem.“

“I don’t want to say what I ordered because I don’t want to set expectations for others… but I will say it was the best I have ever had, including california and south america. Food took a bit of time, but I knew from smelling the food when we arrived that it was going to be good. What made it so great was the flavor of the meat. I am so happy we found this place. “Some of the best authentic Mexican tacos in the area! I've tried a few taco places within 10 minutes of here but this place is the best. Always get my Al Pastor tacos from here. Love the green sauce they provide. Super easy to place an order for pickup over the phone. Very reasonable prices compared to other taco restaurants.“

“Stopped here on a Friday night driving back from Philly to MA, such a warm and lovely place. Delicious food - two of us had tacos and the third had a spicy beef. The rice side dish was really flavorful. It was late and we were the only ones there but the space was super welcoming and the server was so kind and helpful. “Went here for dinner tonight the first time. Food was absolutely amazing. Stephanie was our host/server and she was fantastic at recommendations. Food was delicious. Will definitely make this my new Spanish go to restaurant. The Salvadorian Chicken Tamale was moist and dense, and the flavors mixed perfectly together. If you order the beef empanadas, ask them for their new homemade hot sauce. It's a perfect blend of sweet & heat to go with the pastry dough. Their plantains were a good addition of sweet to the dense of the meal. Their flan was the perfect size for a nice ending dessert to a very filling meal. Definitely a highly recommended place to get an excellent and very affordable meal.“

“Just tried this place out to see if the high rating was real or not. The real reason is we hoped the positive reviews were true. We got tacos with rice and beans. Simple dish, but it's smell and taste were through the roof perfection. Three warm savory corn tortillas for each and each delectable. It reminded me of the best Mexican street food, only better, I had a seat! The staff is basically all family and THAT alone says something about the care behind every dish.“

“I ate here yesterday, and even though it was a 40 minute drive, I'm HEAVILY debating going back today.😍 The employees were all so sweet and helpful. It was my first time in. Food came quick. Chipotle, Moe's and Qdoba wish they had the flavor that this place has!! I got the bowl with Chorizo and a bunch of toppings. The food was so fresh and flavorful. It may be a little difficult to get through with the turn around, but it's beyond worth it to me. To reiterate....all the employees were amazing! The service was Superb, we didn’t have to ask our waiter or waitress for anything we were constantly attended to . The food was great and the portions are are great. I went with my fiancé and daughter so I always order family style , so we had a little of everything . I know it’s cold out but I love a good frozen margarita and it was perfect . Also at the end Jolie , the owner/daughter of the owner also , offered us some free shots of RED CADILLAC TEQUILA , that’s made from them by them . It was very soothing . “If you want real tacos come here. I ordered the tacos al pastor and when they were ready I went to add spice, cilantro, and onion to my liking. The spice is strong haha. I love the food, my brother ordered tacos birrias. I highly recommend you go to this restaurant the next time you crave tacos/Mexican food!“
