this one was my favorite! the italian in me loves garlic lol. just so many flavors is was very good.

we had enough chips to eat all the guacs :) great choices!

chicken taquitos- my favorite! crispy and juicy chicken. they put a mix of green salsa verde and creamy chipotle sauce. has a kick but not bad. i did take off the onion because i didn't want onion. which i didn't know they put it on so i'll say no onion next time.

rice and beans were very flavorful. love the cilantro and cheese on top. nice size too.

chips were very good as well. crispy and not oily. but very salty. i have to be honest. next time i need to ask if they have unsalted chips. sometimes its too much. but over all everything was perfect and staff was very friendly too.“

The rice side dish was really flavorful. It was late and we were the only ones there but the space was super welcoming and the server was so kind and helpful. “I walked in out of the blue. The place is quiet and unassuming. I was greeted as I approached the counter. They were very, very welcoming. After a little bit it was like we knew each other well. They made me feel very comfortable. The food was very good with lots of flavor. My order came out relatively quick. We talked and I watched the game (MTY vs AME). I had a great experience and was very impressed with this place. I highly recommend anyone give it a try. Also, prices are very good and worth every penny!“

Simple dish, but it's smell and taste were through the roof perfection. Three warm savory corn tortillas for each and each delectable. I can't say enough good things about Riviera Maya Mexican in Rockaway! This place has quickly become a favorite stop for me and my fellow soldiers during our drill weekends. The food is consistently fresh and absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that never disappoint.

“My wife and myself were at Latin American Restaurant in Boonton, NJ. We are from out of town looking for home cooking, let me tell you, this was the most delicious food we've had since we've been here. The restaurant is clean and the owner stayed and talked to us for a long while. I had the steak smothered with onions, salad, white rice, black beans and maduros(sweet plantains). You get large portions, my wife took her left overs to the hotel for later. My wife is a very picky eater and she loved everything that was served. The staff was great and we felt very comfortable taking our time with our dinner. We surely will be back before we go home and will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.“

“We ordered the chicken tacos, chicken nachos and a beef burrito. The food was very good and done at the time we requested (we placed a special request to get it done right away - bad planning on our part - thanks for helping). in addition, we received our food the exact way we requested it and nothing was missing. My only minor complaint is that the burrito is smaller than some places but it was well worth $10, which is a fair price. Everything else was priced fairly as well with large quantities and in most instances cheaper than other places The chicken tacos and nachos was a large, very tasty serving. The person who took our order was very friendly. Two requests - please add churros (your competitors have) & fix online ordering :) we look forward to returning!“
