“I walked in out of the blue. The place is quiet and unassuming. I was greeted as I approached the counter. They were very, very welcoming. After a little bit it was like we knew each other well. They made me feel very comfortable. The food was very good with lots of flavor. My order came out relatively quick. We talked and I watched the game (MTY vs AME). I had a great experience and was very impressed with this place. I highly recommend anyone give it a try. Also, prices are very good and worth every penny!“

“If you want real tacos come here. I ordered the tacos al pastor and when they were ready I went to add spice, cilantro, and onion to my liking. The spice is strong haha. “El Patron is a cute and authentic Colombian restaurant in the heart of Dover. The interior is beautifully decorated and inspired by the Salento and Cocora Valley. The food is delicious and the service is great. We’ve had Cesar as our waiter and he was very personable. We’ve also had Lina as our waitress and she was very attentive. Highly recommend El Patron, especially during Colombia soccer games. They have big screens indoors and outdoors. What an experience!“

“I really like this restaurant. I like to sit at the tables and seats next to the windows where I can see everything that happens in the corner...the waitresses are very friendly and the service is fast. The coffee is always fresh. I really enjoy the simplicity of the place, without culinary pretensions, Mexican food for Mexicans, simple and delicious in my opinion, without DRAMA (by the way, I'm Colombian). The prices are definitely very reasonable.

this one was my favorite! the italian in me loves garlic lol. just so many flavors is was very good.

we had enough chips to eat all the guacs :) great choices!

chicken taquitos- my favorite! crispy and juicy chicken. they put a mix of green salsa verde and creamy chipotle sauce. has a kick but not bad. i did take off the onion because i didn't want onion. which i didn't know they put it on so i'll say no onion next time.

rice and beans were very flavorful. love the cilantro and cheese on top. nice size too.

chips were very good as well. crispy and not oily. but very salty. i have to be honest. next time i need to ask if they have unsalted chips. sometimes its too much. but over all everything was perfect and staff was very friendly too.“

“Stopped here on a Friday night driving back from Philly to MA, such a warm and lovely place. Delicious food - two of us had tacos and the third had a spicy beef. The rice side dish was really flavorful. It was late and we were the only ones there but the space was super welcoming and the server was so kind and helpful. “Just tried this place out to see if the high rating was real or not. The real reason is we hoped the positive reviews were true. We got tacos with rice and beans. Simple dish, but it's smell and taste were through the roof perfection. Three warm savory corn tortillas for each and each delectable. It reminded me of the best Mexican street food, only better, I had a seat! The staff is basically all family and THAT alone says something about the care behind every dish.“
