“My wife and myself were at Latin American Restaurant in Boonton, NJ. We are from out of town looking for home cooking, let me tell you, this was the most delicious food we've had since we've been here. The restaurant is clean and the owner stayed and talked to us for a long while. I had the steak smothered with onions, salad, white rice, black beans and maduros(sweet plantains). You get large portions, my wife took her left overs to the hotel for later. My wife is a very picky eater and she loved everything that was served. The staff was great and we felt very comfortable taking our time with our dinner. We surely will be back before we go home and will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.“

“Flavorful food here, especially their sauces! We had been looking in the area for a good Mexican spot and this is the place. Another star for being walking distance from the rock climbing gym right next door. So great for a good rock climbing sesh and great Mexican food after! Our waiters Yahir and Marilin were especially amazing! Great service and the food came out quick and hot. The horchata was especially good!“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. Definitely recommend Sombrero Tacoria.“

“Just tried this place out to see if the high rating was real or not. The real reason is we hoped the positive reviews were true. We got tacos with rice and beans. Simple dish, but it's smell and taste were through the roof perfection. Three warm savory corn tortillas for each and each delectable. It reminded me of the best Mexican street food, only better, I had a seat! The staff is basically all family and THAT alone says something about the care behind every dish.“

I can't say enough good things about Riviera Maya Mexican in Rockaway! This place has quickly become a favorite stop for me and my fellow soldiers during our drill weekends. The food is consistently fresh and absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that never disappoint.

“Did you know that this Latin food place is around Morristown? So delicious!! I'm glad I found the place. I was craving for rice and beans so I did a Google maps search. I didn't order any beans but this curry shrimp rice was amazing. The server asked me if liked spicy food and I said I loved it. She gave me a chilli sauce and I said it's not that spicy. Then she handed me a secret sauce she said was not for everyone. It was pretty good because I love spicy food. They have so many options is ridiculous. I will definitely go back to try other things. The rice came with a salad and a thousand Island sauce topped with avocado. I couldn't finish the dish because it was so filling. Definitely a local GEM. It's not fancy but that's what I like. I got the rice and a Pina colada drink with no alcohol. The drink was ok and price was expensive for a lunch. With tips I gave $30 which is kinda pricey for a lunch. I could've had a pizza and a soda for less than $10. But if you have the money to spend, I think this is a very good place try. The price was decent considering the quality I got. I definitely recommend it.“

“El Patron is a cute and authentic Colombian restaurant in the heart of Dover. The interior is beautifully decorated and inspired by the Salento and Cocora Valley. The food is delicious and the service is great. We’ve had Cesar as our waiter and he was very personable. We’ve also had Lina as our waitress and she was very attentive. Highly recommend El Patron, especially during Colombia soccer games. They have big screens indoors and outdoors. What an experience!“

The food was very good and done at the time we requested (we placed a special request to get it done right away - bad planning on our part - thanks for helping). in addition, we received our food the exact way we requested it and nothing was missing. My only minor complaint is that the burrito is smaller than some places but it was well worth $10, which is a fair price. Everything else was priced fairly as well with large quantities and in most instances cheaper than other places The chicken tacos and nachos was a large, very tasty serving. I grew up in Pompton Lakes and I have moved all over the country and have dated more pizza than I care to share 🤣 I swear to you there is no better sausage pie in the world better than Tony’s. I work and own a business in the food industry and I swear by this pizza and mussels.
