“Toast Cafe absolutely knocked it out of the park for our Sheva Brochos!
We hosted the entire event there (about 40 guests) and from start to finish everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious—everyone raved about the salmon especially. Portion sizes were generous and everything was perfectly seasoned.
The staff was warm, professional, and genuinely excited to be part of our simcha. Service throughout the night was seamless, and the manager personally checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything that we needed.
The space itself is clean, modern, and felt perfect for an family Sheva Brochos—elegant but not stuffy. Pricing was very fair for the quality and service we received.
Highly recommend Toast Cafe for private events, especially in the frum community. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you for helping make our Sheva Brochos so special!

“A friend gifted a $100 gift card that we first used $70.01 on 7/01/2023. Went back today, 12/22/2024, and attempted to use the remaining $29.99 on part of our bill, but were advised that the card was declined. Service was good and food was good but was alarmed that $100 was paid but only $70.01 was honored. I advise beware of gift card purchases. We will not be going back.”

“The worst location ever!!!! No reviews on over a year the only reason that could possibly be is because they turned commenting off! No matter what day or time you come you will always wait at least 30 minutes at the drive-through. They have to be the slowest. Damn people I have ever met in my life.”

“Little difficult to find the place. Went for lunch. Had the 4 kinds of tacos: chicken,short rib, beef, lamb. Also the fries which were crisp. and had 4 kinds of dipping sauce. Got the steak sandwich for my daughter. She loved hers. We loved the fries and tacos. manager was friendly and explained our options. I missed having Mexican. MOstly you get pizza, bagels Israeli style , and steak restaurants.”

“Our golf group decided on the Southside deli as our lunch venue before our tee time at Lakewood CC. Don't be fooled the uninspiring curb appeal, this was a great choice! I had a delicious pastrami sandwich on fresh rye bread with cole slaw which was absolutely delicious! I will be back to try their kosher BBQ and smoked meats, plus other sandwiches and burgers.”

“I wasn’t sure what to expect here, but I guess I’d call it a not-quite-balabus level steakhouse.
I went with 4 other people and ordered a steak which was okay, tasty but nothing crazy. When your paying their prices, a satisfactory steak just doesn’t cut it.
The design? Meh. And this was before all the competition came around. Now you really gotta up your game.
Not impressed by the ambience.
The service was ok too.
Listen though, I walked out with a full stomach, and that, my friend, always deserves 4 stars.”
