“coming back from a work trip decided to stop in for a quick bite, ended up staying for 2 hours just enjoying the place!! great food as always. and above average customer service for this Manchester location. I got a burger with jalapeno's and 2 miller lites and a few more appetizers as the night went on. when ever im in the area ill drop in again for sure. 5/5stars“

“I really love this diner . Today I wanted to treat my two grandchildren ages 8 and 10 to the great cheeseburgers and fries. We walked in and took a seat. The two waitress were a little busy. We sat a few moments, neither approached us. I asked my granddaughter to get us a menu. We still sat another few moments with no greeting. I watched as tables were being cleaned , walk in guest ordering at the counter, attending to new customers after we arrived. After about 15 minutes of no greeting at all , I asked the waitress why we were being ignored? She claimed she didn’t see us . We were sitting right in the the middle of the diner where we were perfectly noticeable. I was in this diner many times. I was very disappointed and upset that we were ignored. I believe it was because I had children with me. My grandchildren are very well behaved and didn’t deserve to be ignored. I really love this diner but I really don’t know if I’ll be back . Maybe your waitresses need help , one of them had an attitude. We left and went to McDonald’s where we were treated kindly. I’m sorry to report this incident , I was trying to give my grandchildren a good meal and a memory with me . It didn’t turn out that way. They were asking me why the lady didn’t want to take our order.“

“Came here for a quick, Sunday homestyle breakfast and was not disappointed at all. The atmosphere is unique, to say the least, but also gives a lot to start conversations amongst the table. Serving portions were superb and food was very tasty. I have seen other comments and reviews that were very negative and nasty, but everybody can have a bad day once in a while. They were complaining on the service and owner/waiter being rude and yelling. I've seen more positive ratings than negative ones. While not everybody has the same humor, people can definitely be some Debbie downers. All in all, we had a nice experience and enjoyed the food. Ihop who?? Lol will def be back!!!“

“My wife and I go on the River Lady for a dinner cruise every chance we get and definitely every September for our anniversary. A great experience with good food considering it’s brought onto the boat in hot boxes, the staff is very attentive and friendly. The views are awesome. Night dinner cruises have been great with a DJ and the Captains are great too. We highly recommend this activity. You will be pleased that you went. We hope you try it and have a wonderful time.“

“I wasn’t sure what to expect here, but I guess I’d call it a not-quite-balabus level steakhouse.
I went with 4 other people and ordered a steak which was okay, tasty but nothing crazy. When your paying their prices, a satisfactory steak just doesn’t cut it.
The design? Meh. And this was before all the competition came around. Now you really gotta up your game.
Not impressed by the ambience.
The service was ok too.
Listen though, I walked out with a full stomach, and that, my friend, always deserves 4 stars.“

“Ellie's Speedway's All Star Bagel Shop & Charleston Coffee House is the best place in all of Central NJ. I've been a loyal customer for 2 years & not only do they make the greatest breakfast sandwiches we've ever had, but they have an amazing staff. Their sandwiches & cold brew beat any other shop around by far. They load you up on bacon & always have the freshest bagels you've ever tasted. The staff is the sweetest & will always remember you, and the atmosphere is always homey. Can't speak highly enough!“

“I had brunch catered this past weekend and everything was excellent. My guests raved about the food. It arrived fresh and still hot with a great variety of items, including fresh fruit, homemade muffins, yogurt parfaits and delicious sandwiches, potatoes and pastas. “Our family is staying in Ortley Beach renting a house. Because of the pandemic it is so difficult to find someplace good to eat. We all love Chinese Food and were very disappointed in our choices in the area. We decided to try Dynasty Kitchen on Fisher Blvd. in Tom's River. We were pleasantly surprised to see they will deliver to Ortley Beach. They told us our order can be there in about 45 minutes. Lo and behold our order arrived in the given time but the best surprise was the food is absolutely delicious! We had egg rolls, fried wontons,wonton soup, pork in black bean sauce, pork chop suey, egg foo young, General TSO Chicken, chicken in black bean sauce and chicken and broccoli. Let me tell you, this food is excellent! The egg rolls were ok. That was the only thing we were okay with but nothing out of the ordinary. We had roast pork fried rice and shrimp fried rice. The prices are great too. All that fed a family of 5 adults and one 8 year old. It out cost about $90 dollars. We have tons of left overs too!! Check them out!“

“We had lunch there (arrived before 1pm) sat with popcorn served while looking the menu the place was cool clean and the server was nice it took long to get our orders (we notice the server was alone) we ordered calamari and chicken wings for starter the food was hot and delicious served the salad and soup (my first time and my sisters second time) then i ordered the salsbury steak (it was salty) i like the gravy with onion/mushroom and mashed potato (my sister) seafood scampi (my nephew) cheesesteak and (my niece) sirloin steak.“
