“What an amazing experience we had for our anniversary! The DJ was amazing and his name was DJ Bobby, he loves Michael Jackson and loves to interact with the crowd. The waiter and waitresses were very nice and attentive. It was a shame the weather was very rainy but we made the best of it. Also, the food was okay and the pasta was very mushy and inedible. They explained they don't normally get it catered from Capone's but it was the only place available for the last sail for the season. Besides the food, everything else was absolutely amazing!“

We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. Street parking was easy, but there’s also a parking lot. The place is probably a madhouse in the summer, but we had no trouble getting a table.“

I used to go there when I was a kid. And it's the same owner. The only time I go there now is when I'm in town. “First time to Black Eyed Susan's and it really was such a delight. The vibe inside was very cozy and inviting, they had a wood fire going in the fireplace, the lights were perfectly dimmed. We were greeted warmly, our coats checked. My drink, the "you had me at aloe," was the prefect blend of fruity and fresh - and the passion fruit pearls atop the drink were so fun - a little burst of flavor! My husband couldn't decide on a wine, and they kindly let him have a small taste of one before he committed - in the end he went with a lovely Sangiovese Red. We left feeling FULL. The prices here are not cheap, but the serving size you get for the price is a good value. We took home portions of our entrees, and the only apps we had were the sour dough bread and olives - of which we also took some home. Typically I don't venture this far north on the island, but for the tasty food and bevies I would make the trip again.“

“I always get their cheese steaks with peppers and onions. Soo good! My only complaints, they close so early! They close at 3:00 and i would love to order dinner for my family at times. I went there 3/10/24 @4:15 pm and they were already closed. They would make a killing if open for dinner until at least 5:30 -6:00 pm. Also, would be fantastic if they delivered, such as via Grub Hub or Uber Eats etc.. Other than those 2 complaints, I LOVE the food and the staff!! Highly recommend ?“

The restaurant itself was very cute, I do wish it was a bit larger of a space only due to noise. There was a very large party and the people talking/laughing in combination with the acoustics of the room just made it sound extremely loud inside, my husband and I could barely concentrate to talk. It would have been nicer to have the party in a private area, if the restaurant was larger. The staff were all very friendly and kind. Overall we were impressed and will def be back!“

I got to meet the owners and they were the most down to earth friendly people. The clams were an excellent appetizer, followed by one of the best medium-rare prime ribs I've ever had. They absolutely nailed it. The rest of my party enjoyed the seafood they ordered. The dry scallops had by others were raved about and the service was top notch. This is a high end seafood restaurant with all the charm of a seaside inn. I absolutely can't wait to go back.“

The only criticism this morning was the breakfast potatoes and although it does say "crispy" these were well done and bounced across the plate and resisted piercing from my fork. “This was our first time visiting Turning Point and we were pleasantly surprised. This location is new. The staff and service were excellent. Our server David was wonderful. He appeared to actually like his job which is hard these days working in the service and restaurant industry. Our food came out hot which when you have eggs it it means that it was sent to our table immediately after being prepared and not sitting under a hot lamp. The food tastes fresh and delicious. We for the The GOAT omelet and Huevos Rancheros. We would both order them again. The menu isn’t large like a diner but selections cover everything you would want for a breakfast or Brunch. Coffee was made free and a carafe left at the table which is nice so you don’t wait for a refill from a sever. Lunch menu small but they have salads and sandwiches which all look great. I would definitely go back to this location. We went on a Saturday a little after 10am and there was no wait. Prices are the same as a diner but exceed the quality and definitely the service.“
