“I had a Tex mex burrito and it was incredible! It had freshly made pico de gallo, and this was the first place I've been to with that. Also had a caramel cold brew and it was delicious. Bacon egg and cheese was good too, hard to rate that cus it's so standard but all in all, food was great and the place was clean, neat and looked new. There was space to eat your food too. Glad we stumbled upon it.“

“What an amazing experience we had for our anniversary! The DJ was amazing and his name was DJ Bobby, he loves Michael Jackson and loves to interact with the crowd. The waiter and waitresses were very nice and attentive. It was a shame the weather was very rainy but we made the best of it. Also, the food was okay and the pasta was very mushy and inedible. They explained they don't normally get it catered from Capone's but it was the only place available for the last sail for the season. Besides the food, everything else was absolutely amazing!“

“If I had to describe the food I just had at Manera's, it could be done in two words: absolutely outstanding. I've been eyeing up Manera's since they first opened, and replaced the now-gone Famous Dave's BBQ. Having heard nothing but good things about it, and seeing that they had a steak au poivre burger - I knew I needed to give it a shot. Fast forward to today, and a quick lunch trip later, I'm officially hooked. I arrived at 12:00 on a Sunday, with the place absolutely chock full of patrons (they had two parties that had booked the place). Despite this, service was absolutely stellar, our waitress was incredibly attentive and helpful, and the food came out stunningly quickly for being so crowded. My burger came out exactly as I ordered it (medium rare), and I've gotta say, it might be one of the best burgers I've eaten in my life. On par with Pat Lafrieda burgers in terms of meat quality, and the sauce, brie, and char all lived in perfect harmony. I'll be thinking of that burger for weeks to come. Even the fries were perfectly cooked! Decor is a little sparse, which would be the only 'downside' I can think of. Personally, I dine out for food, not ambiance, so this isn't a huge deal to me. All in all, if lunch being THIS good was any indication, I'll certainly be back for dinners in the future. An absolute gem in a town that's full of entirely too many chain food restaurants, and one that I highly suggest folks give a try to. Absolutely top notch!“

“It was a bit hard to find the restaurant (for an out of towner) in the dark, as there is no signage facing the street and the property includes a catering hall. We parked at the wrong side of the facility and went into the catering hall. One of the waiters directed us to the restaurant, whose entrance was on the other side. The ambiance is nice there - dimmed lighting and modern furniture. After we ordered, the service was a bit slow. The portions were generous and tasty. The Chicken Marsela was delicious but overcooked and the edges were chewy. It needed 5 minutes less cook time.“

We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.“

Street parking was easy, but there’s also a parking lot. The place is probably a madhouse in the summer, but we had no trouble getting a table.“

He kept apologizing for the wait and time it took for everything to come out, which he absolutely did not have to do( good sir you have zero control over that, plus it was busy and you are one person caring for so many tables). “This is an absolute wow restaurant. There is nothing on the menu that's generic and everything has a personal touch to it. I got to meet the owners and they were the most down to earth friendly people. The clams were an excellent appetizer, followed by one of the best medium-rare prime ribs I've ever had. They absolutely nailed it. The rest of my party enjoyed the seafood they ordered. The dry scallops had by others were raved about and the service was top notch. This is a high end seafood restaurant with all the charm of a seaside inn. I absolutely can't wait to go back.“
“This post relates to the “New Owners” of Verace’s! The food is outstanding. But by far, my absolute favorite is their pizza that has a sweet and salty taste to it! The pizza crust is on the thin side and so crispy, yet not hard, but definitely crispy! The square pizza is topped with chicken that is marinated in a sweetish coating that has a minor tang to it, coated in sesame seeds. Don’t worry, it’s not “spicy hot” at all. It is also topped with red onion, green and red peppers, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella cheese! The absolute best!!!! “I always get their cheese steaks with peppers and onions. Soo good! My only complaints, they close so early! They close at 3:00 and i would love to order dinner for my family at times. I went there 3/10/24 @4:15 pm and they were already closed. They would make a killing if open for dinner until at least 5:30 -6:00 pm. Also, would be fantastic if they delivered, such as via Grub Hub or Uber Eats etc.. Other than those 2 complaints, I LOVE the food and the staff!! Highly recommend ?“
“Food presentation and taste was wonderful. I was happy to see that they still serve a salad and side dish with the main entree as many restaurants don’t anymore. The restaurant itself was very cute, I do wish it was a bit larger of a space only due to noise. There was a very large party and the people talking/laughing in combination with the acoustics of the room just made it sound extremely loud inside, my husband and I could barely concentrate to talk. It would have been nicer to have the party in a private area, if the restaurant was larger. The staff were all very friendly and kind. Overall we were impressed and will def be back!“

“This place is always consistent. Good filling food at a great price. The staff was attentive and yet not hurrying. The only criticism this morning was the breakfast potatoes and although it does say "crispy" these were well done and bounced across the plate and resisted piercing from my fork. I think next time the hash browns instead. Everything was hot and fresh, coffee urn on the table was enough for 3 cups, I liked that. Perkins is always a safe bet whether here in Lacey, Toms River or Scranton Pa always good and priced fairly.“
