“First after reading other reviews I am noticing people are MISTAKING this location (Exit 74 rest area) with the Lanoka harbor Rt9 location.I’ve never had a bad experience at this rest area and would much rather drive on the parkway and pay the toll to get better service and food.The lanoka hardbor Rt 9 location is disgusting, the workers lack professionalism, self care, and basic customer service! Also the Lanoka Harbor location charges for each sauce even when you purchase an item that should include it and even after paying most the sauces are broken in the bag…. “This place was a hit as soon as we stepped in.It was clean and very welcoming,very organised.First you sat down at the front or stand inline look at menu,decide what you like to have.Then walk up to the register,order and pay,then you were given a number to put on your table,when the food is ready they will come to your table and serve your food.The hamburgers were Great ,we tried the ones with the Avocado ,the French fries was I believe the Best I have ever tasted ,very well seasoned,and the milk shakes one of the best I've every tried as well.The restrooms were clean and nicely put together.This franchise in Toms River NJ was great.You should definitely visit here whenever your close in this area.You won't be disappointed .Also they had 7 Led TV screens you can watch your favourite sports while enjoying your food.“

“We had an amazing breakfast. I chose the French toast (not the stuffed one) and my husband had the chicken and waffles. Both meals were delicious with plenty of food. I took half of mine home with me. They also offer specialty coffees/teas which were also tasty. Small, but cute place. I truly hope they make it as the chef has some very unique options on the menu that you don't see anywhere around here. “Their Seaside Tony is the sandwich to get, if you're there for the night, weekend, or live there( especially live there). All the locals order it. Service is excellent. I used to go there when I was a kid. And it's the same owner. The only time I go there now is when I'm in town. I've been critiquing food for the past twenty years and Steaks unlimited is by far the best Cheese steaks in the tri state area, which includes Philly. “We came here for lunch after spending some time in the mall, and the food court looked a little lackluster. We got the 2 for $26, which is still a pretty decent deal despite the cost going up in the past couple years. We did the mozzarella sticks for our appetizer, and I got a classic burger as my meal. Our server, whose name I forget, was super nice. The mozzarella sticks were good, and I expected them to be decent since they were likely frozen. The burger was also good, but when it was brought out to me, it did not have cheese on it despite it having it in the picture. I sliced my burger in half to get a picture of the middle of the patty, I asked for medium. When I told my server that I thought that the burger came with cheese, he responded “It does.” And I showed him it didn’t have cheese, and he said he’d take it back to put cheese on top. It came back with some cheese on top, which I was a little surprised about. It wasn’t melted like I’d hoped for. Still, the flavor was fine. The fries were nice and crispy. I definitely recommend this location, it’s nice to sit down after walking around the mall for half of a day.“

“I have been spending time at the Jersey shore for over 50 years. This year we purchased a condo in Seaside Heights and have been there almost every weekend. Unfortunately we typically are in the area of Midway and south. Yesterday we went North and I am so glad we did. We wandered into the Shake Shoppe arcade for the first time. While the arcade itself can use some updating, the customer service we experienced from Joe was outstanding. When a machine we were using was malfunctioning, he took the time, while being short staffed, to fix it rather than giving up and putting an “Out of order” sign on it and giving is credit on another machine. He then explained how the tickets work and helped us find something to get with our winnings. Joe is patient, friendly, knowlegeable, and quite obviously a people person who enjoys his job. I give him a 5+++ star rating. A rare treat at his young age. Thanks to Joe, we will be sure to come back to Shake Shoppe next time we are down, and next season for sure!“
“Dairy Queen always has plenty of employees working. We enjoy the Dipped Cones, especially Cherry Dipped, available year-round. Make sure to try the Churro Dipped when available. The regular hard ice cream flavors in cone are classic items we enjoy, especially chocolate chip mint ice cream dipped in chocolate sprinkles or chocolate crunch. You cannot beat the price either, compared to other places. There is also seating on the side with amble space. We love our local DQ.“
“Sawmill is always our spot when we come back to the shore on vacation. We always come for the huge slice. We came here for my 40th birthday and had a few tables in the back. It was a great venue for a larger party of guests. The food was good, the bartenders were great too.“

I passed on the drinks because that would have been another 6 bucks for 2 sodas, I'll drink water at home. We won't even talk about the shake prices. “Nice place for a nostalgic meal experience. There aren’t many places left in busy towns/cities that just give you that back in the day, childhood vibe. No gimmicks, no extras just good people, good food and a good time. The chicken tenders are the crispiest yet juiciest I’ve had from a fast food restaurant. Quite flavorful too! The fried chicken itself is also very good but a little too breaded for my personal taste (just like KFC and Popeyes so it’s still worth a try). The fries are good not too greasy, no added salt and served fresh and golden. They have a salad bar area where you can add your own toppings and condiments (a very nice touch!) drink machines are fresh so whatever flavor you choose should be nice and crisp. They even have a cheesesteak! Pretty good too. There’s ample seating at this location and it is clean. The staff are welcoming and they maintain the facility throughout their shifts. Plenty of parking available as well as a drive thru. On a Friday night, this place was getting packed just around 7pm with families including young children. That’s a good sign!“
“A nice old school deli in Barnegat Light. The place has been here forever, as well as the people working here. A good hearty breakfast sandwich at a reasonable price. Coffee is good too. My only complaint is that they took out all the tables to eat at because of "COVID", as well have random plastic sheets hanging that do nothing at all to protect anyone as they aren't in the areas where people are close to one another. Add the tables back and let people enjoy company with one another like a beach town/ deli is known for. Also, can we please open the bathrooms to paying patrons? COVID, really??!?“
