“Went here because it was suggested by my girlfriend who goes there all the time. I have to say this place is a hidden jem...well for me it was being im only out here in nj for 2 years. The service was excellent, the heros reminded me of the old Brooklyn subs which are excellent. Quick and friendly service and even brought home a sandwich for my son which he loved. “I really had a craving for some crispy fries, so i stopped in. The fries were nothing like they used to be. I really miss the fries from the 70s/80s/90s that were so crispy & tasty & fried in tallow! I used to go there just for a large fry & a sweet tea.
PLEASE grow a set & bring back the old style fries! I'll guarantee you'll have more customers than you know what to do with. As it stands now, the only decent fries are at ChickFilet or Wendy's. STOP catering to the vegetarian complainers & bring back the good fries. Let the veggie peeps go elsewhere if they don't agree.“

“There are hundreds of places that make burgers these days and half of them are “Ehhhhh” at best. I tried “Burger 25” for the first time and MY GOD, they nailed it!! - Big burger (added the extra patty) the burger was very juicy, seasoned and very filling!!
Additionally, I ordered there cheese fries which I can honestly say were also “AMAZING”

“There used to be Roy Rogers restaurants on the NY state thruway. Would specifically stop at those rest stations to go to a Roy Rogers. Sadly, NY got rid of the Roy Rogers. The holiday decor is a whole vibe—the owners and staff really went all out to provide a warm, inviting experience for their customers. We are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. the tables are always spotless and everything is clean. dirty dishes don’t stay at the table long because someone comes by to take them, they’re just awesome like that.

food is always great, hot, and fresh. haven’t had a bad meal EXCEPT the chicken parmigiana dinner, the noodles were very bland and gross (in my opinion) but i’m not one to complain. the chicken was pretty good though. other than that all the food here is a hit, haven’t had to send back a meal ever!

i don’t know what the girls name is but she has dyed hair and busts her ass cleaning tables every time i see her. she works to the best of her ability and she’s quick and kind. all the workers are kind and help each other out. no attitudes. everyone is very professional, no one reeks of cigarettes or strong perfume which is a plus. everything was brought to the table quick even though there was a lot of people.

applebees is the best for fundraisers in the area too. as a kid i came here for a marching band event and had to serve pancakes. they’re always supporting schools or teams in some way

again i highly recommend it you’re in the area. applebees is a great place to go due to the fact they’re open for a whole chunk of the day. any occasion too.

It's a hidden gem. I would recommend you get there and experience it for yourself before word gets out. Otherwise you will need reservations. Parking is abundant with reserved spaces for HW.
