Housed in a nondescript side of the road mall, inside is a world of delicious food and very nice people! The Diablo Pepperoni was outstanding and the Marguerite was really fresh and tasty. Check out their daily specials and their menu is extensive and varied. A gentleman was having pasta at a nearby table and looked very pleased with his meal! We took zeppoles home for desert. “First time to Black Eyed Susan's and it really was such a delight. The vibe inside was very cozy and inviting, they had a wood fire going in the fireplace, the lights were perfectly dimmed. We were greeted warmly, our coats checked. My drink, the "you had me at aloe," was the prefect blend of fruity and fresh - and the passion fruit pearls atop the drink were so fun - a little burst of flavor! My husband couldn't decide on a wine, and they kindly let him have a small taste of one before he committed - in the end he went with a lovely Sangiovese Red. We left feeling FULL. The prices here are not cheap, but the serving size you get for the price is a good value. We took home portions of our entrees, and the only apps we had were the sour dough bread and olives - of which we also took some home. Typically I don't venture this far north on the island, but for the tasty food and bevies I would make the trip again.“

We only had an hour to eat, but luckily it was just 2 minutes down the Boulevard. I enjoy his pizza very much but would appreciate if he had fountain drinks instead of canned and bottle drinks to go with it. The sauce has a great spice blend with plenty of flavor. And the cheese! Melty and gooey goodness. This is the essential Jersey slice right here.
