“Pies Place is the best!!! My friends and I just discovered this place about two weeks ago. We have been at least 6 times & they have always been great to us! My friend just moved to Bayville and they were so welcoming. They wrote welcome to Bayville on the pizza box and also gave us extra desserts! They truly are so kind there and I would recommend them to everyone I know! Not only are they great people but the food is so so good. I have been struggling to find a good pizza spot in the area and now this will be my go-to every time. Delish foods and desserts. Amazing staff!!“

“Today was Our first time at Pondrelli’s … honestly from the second we walked in Luigi was so warm and welcoming he even went over every slice and sandwich with my daughter and I. Which was amazing because I didn’t feel forced to choose something quickly like you do at most places. While we waited Luigi and Anthony both hung out and talked to my daughter and I. (We frequent pizzerias often and NO ONE does that.) They are very down to earth and nice people. Lol Even as we walked out my 10 year old was like that was super cool of them. “I visited Manzano’s for the first time . Everything was great . Stuffed calamari, stuffed mushrooms for appetizers . For my main course I tried the chicken cordon blue over fettuccini Alfredo . Unbelievable. Such big portions, I had to take half of it home. Most importantly, the service was great . Everyone is treated like family .“

“We had a great experience overall! The tomato pie came out hot and fresh, the buffalo wings were definitely on the spicy side but still really delicious (just wish I had some ranch on the side!). The nacho supreme was so good — I’d absolutely order it again, just without the jalapeños next time.

Service was solid with refills coming regularly, but we did have to wait a bit for our food. Toward the end, it felt like we were being rushed out, which wasn’t ideal since we were enjoying great conversation with a couple next to us.

Prices were affordable, the location is convenient, and parking was good. Overall, it’s a fun spot in South Jersey for good laughs, drinks, and company. We’d definitely go back!

TripAdvisor rated Klee’s highly, so we decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. Maybe a 15 minute wait for our table, and Shannon took very good care of us while we were there. Food was a good temperature when served and was delicious; I had the fish & chips platter and Dee had the flounder off the daily specials menu. “Black Eyed Susans is one of our absolute favorite restaurants on LBI, and it keeps us coming back every time we’re on the island.

One of the best things to come out of COVID was the addition of the outdoor patio. We love sitting outside, especially on a beautiful summer evening. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfectly captures the spirit of LBI.

The service is always exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and consistently makes us feel like valued guests.

If you’re a wine lover, don’t miss Wine Wednesdays. Half-price bottles make an already great wine list even better. The selection is excellent, the pricing is fair, and it adds tremendous value to an already outstanding dining experience.

I also have to give a shoutout to their mini martinis. I have no idea why more restaurants don’t offer them. They’re the perfect size, let you try different cocktails throughout the meal, and make for a fun dining experience.

As for the food, I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and have never had a bad dish. The sourdough bread is fantastic, and my wife, who considers herself a true french fry connoisseur, swears they are the best french fries in the United States.

When you combine the quality of the food, the outstanding service, the wine program, the mini martinis, and the atmosphere, Black Eyed Susans delivers an incredible experience at a very fair price. It’s a place we look forward to visiting every time we’re back on LBI.“

“I just wanted to reach out & thank your staff on duty from Friday 8/18 Especially Rod/Ron the Manager (my apologies I don't remember his name exactly) for outstanding customer service! We were at the restaurant Friday evening. It was the last night of our family Seaside Vacation and our first time dining at The Sawmill. We were seated promptly(young hostess with curly hair and an air cast), drinks & food orders were taken very quickly(female server with dark curly hair and an accent). Our beverages came out in a flash, and our appetizers were moments behind. When my teenage son reached across for some tasty pretzel bites...he knocked his full orange soda into his lap (and shirt) , onto the floor, & even onto me! We sent him to the restroom to try and clean himself up while we motioned for help, we didn't want anyone to slip on the wet floor! Within seconds your staff responded in the best possible way. Your manager was mopping up the floor, our server was bringing a replacement soda, one of the ladies bussing tables hustled over with towels. By the time my son returned from the restroom my husband and I were discussing how to proceed (Run back to the house to change or by new clothes on the boardwalk) when Rod/Ron appeared on bended knee next to my son with Sawmill t-shirts in tow asking his size so he could change his shirt. My son initially refused because; it was "all his fault & he didn't deserve it" but; Rod/Ron persisted and convinced my son that these kinds of things happen to everyone. A point I was just making to my child, when my son heard this he accepted. The way your staff responded in the moment took what could have been an awful end to our vacation into a very bright spot because of how attentive and supportive your staff was.
