“I really love this diner . Today I wanted to treat my two grandchildren ages 8 and 10 to the great cheeseburgers and fries. We walked in and took a seat. The two waitress were a little busy. We sat a few moments, neither approached us. I asked my granddaughter to get us a menu. We still sat another few moments with no greeting. I watched as tables were being cleaned , walk in guest ordering at the counter, attending to new customers after we arrived. After about 15 minutes of no greeting at all , I asked the waitress why we were being ignored? She claimed she didn’t see us . We were sitting right in the the middle of the diner where we were perfectly noticeable. I was in this diner many times. I was very disappointed and upset that we were ignored. I believe it was because I had children with me. My grandchildren are very well behaved and didn’t deserve to be ignored. I really love this diner but I really don’t know if I’ll be back . Maybe your waitresses need help , one of them had an attitude. We left and went to McDonald’s where we were treated kindly. I’m sorry to report this incident , I was trying to give my grandchildren a good meal and a memory with me . It didn’t turn out that way. They were asking me why the lady didn’t want to take our order.“

“Great pizza. I love the $11 cheese pie special on Mondays. I thought economical pizza prices had disappeared forever after the pandemic. Good to know this pizza still values their customers enough to add an affordable pizza special for us people that are struggling to make ends meet in this economy. “Came here for a quick, Sunday homestyle breakfast and was not disappointed at all. The atmosphere is unique, to say the least, but also gives a lot to start conversations amongst the table. Serving portions were superb and food was very tasty. I have seen other comments and reviews that were very negative and nasty, but everybody can have a bad day once in a while. They were complaining on the service and owner/waiter being rude and yelling. I've seen more positive ratings than negative ones. While not everybody has the same humor, people can definitely be some Debbie downers. All in all, we had a nice experience and enjoyed the food. Ihop who?? Lol will def be back!!!“

“Kept driving by this place and finally got to try it out last week. As a Chicago native, I can tell you this is what I've been looking for the past 3 years of living here. The crust does not explode in your mouth like a bunch of tiny little splinters, it's softer and doughy. The ingredients and cheese are not skimped out on either, they are fresh ingredients and plentiful at that. The only thing I would change is more sauce, but I can do that myself next order on my own. Leftovers microwaved is a no go but air fried it's just like it came out of the oven all over again. In a Jersey full of Luigi's, pick Marios, you won't be disappointed. I suggest adding the wings into your order as well, best take out wings I've had from a pizza shop, super crispy breading and juicy interior.“

“Our family is staying in Ortley Beach renting a house. Because of the pandemic it is so difficult to find someplace good to eat. We all love Chinese Food and were very disappointed in our choices in the area. We decided to try Dynasty Kitchen on Fisher Blvd. in Tom's River. We were pleasantly surprised to see they will deliver to Ortley Beach. They told us our order can be there in about 45 minutes. Lo and behold our order arrived in the given time but the best surprise was the food is absolutely delicious! We had egg rolls, fried wontons,wonton soup, pork in black bean sauce, pork chop suey, egg foo young, General TSO Chicken, chicken in black bean sauce and chicken and broccoli. Let me tell you, this food is excellent! The egg rolls were ok. That was the only thing we were okay with but nothing out of the ordinary. We had roast pork fried rice and shrimp fried rice. The prices are great too. All that fed a family of 5 adults and one 8 year old. It out cost about $90 dollars. We have tons of left overs too!! Check them out!“

“I’ve been coming to JT’s bagels since they opened and it’s literally the only place where I’ll get a bagel from! Consistency is key. I moved away 5 years ago and I’m officially back in Jersey for good and they’re still as perfect as I remember them! I would literally crave them. My 3 year old was born in Hawaii, a little local boy. He had his first ever, Jersey bagel from JTs and LOVED it! Needless to say, this is the best place to get your bagels from!“

I recently ordered beef and broccoli to eat in, which came with a rich brown sauce extra spicy, just the way I ordered it. The owner, Jennifer, was extremely friendly and helpful. The broccoli was cooked just right, crispy, and she made sure to check on me as I ate. The place is one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants I have been to.“
