“We make a trip to The Village Kitchen every year—both on our way to Cape May, NJ and on the way back—and it never disappoints. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is just as excellent. This cozy spot is a hidden gem for breakfast and lunch. The chipped beef, in particular, is absolutely outstanding—easily one of the best we’ve had. Highly recommended!“

“We went here today for lunch and the food was delicious. They quesadillas (I got a steak quesadilla) was packed with steak and was the best quesadilla I ever had. My husband got a burger and said it was very good as well. Cute little place.“

“My first visit, don't know how I didn't know about this place! Adorable! great coffee (from someone who drinks it plain black, that's really a compliment!) “New England and Manhatten chowder are amazing. Lots of potatoes and clams. Also, Buffalo tenders have sauce on them and they're still crispy, thats how wings shoild.be made, nobody wants soggy wings. Always a great meal. Clams casino are amazing too. Seafood is always fresh, staff is always pleasant and helpful. We stop for lunch whenever we're in ocean city“

“Hot bagel hands-down has the best breakfast sandwiches in the region! There is NO competition. The bagels are fresh. They have a wide selection and the sandwiches are big! But not to the point where you can’t hold it. It doesn’t fall apart and ruin your day. PERFECT PORTION! The inside is NO NONSENSE. Not really the “soup nazi” vibe but no frills for sure. Get in, place your order and get out! If you’re near a hot bagel, you gotta try it!“

“Our office is very close to Johnny's and we go quiet often. The owner Johnny is always there and sometimes you will see him walking around the dining rooms checking on things. His wife is also present usually and ensures everyone is having a great time. The food here is amazing and the best Italian on the island. I recommend the Calamari or any of their Veal specials. They also make an amazing Chicken Parm. We love the atmosphere, it is classy but relaxed. Also, they have a DJ there that is out of this world (I believe his name is also Johnny) and our office loves to come when he is there! Fun for all. I would not bring kids here, that is not the vibe at all. They are also open for breakfast, and I think that is one of the best on the island as well. I recommend Johnny's to many of the people interact with on the daily, it will always be my go to spot.“

“Such a cute little space. I ordered a mango madness smoothie and an acai bowl with granola, coconut, strawberry, banana and peanut butter. All Prices are cheaper than the boardwalk, toppings were included with the price, and everything is fresh, made to order and delicious.“
