“Food was absolutely amazing. The wrap was delicious and toasted perfectly. The fries are the right amount of crispy and salty, some of the best I’ve ever had. “This place opened after the poke place closed and I'm honestly so glad for it. I no longer need to drive out to Hylan to get Vietnamese food!The staff are amazingly friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and decently sized for the prices, which are pretty good compared to other locations on the island. It's a small shop and most people seem to take out rather than sit in. They also offer rice bowls and bubble tea in addition to noodles and sandwiches!The pho is a bit of a southern style, so it comes with herbs to assemble in your bowl. The beef was a bit tough, but it was probably to avoid people saying it was raw, which is the more traditional way to serve. The chicken pho is also good and made a pretty staying breakfast. The noodles are also decently springy and the broth is always hot.Overall, I hope they do well and I will probably be back some time to satisfy my cravings.“
“I'm lactose intolerant...This place is worth the stomachache. Their Hershey ice cream is to die for. They serve sundaes and cakes and an apple pie cake? Like I've never heard of that, and it's killer. The owners of the place are such kind people and the workers are extremely patient and helpful. I would go here again 100%.“

“I had some time to spare while waiting for my movies to start, so I decided to walk around the food court. A new spot caught my attention. I thought the prices were kind of high, but I was really curious, so I continued on ordering. The cashier was very nice to explain menu items to me. I went with the cheese empanada and a pernil empanada. I'm glad that their empanada are decently sized and that they load up their empanadas. Even the cheese ones had a lot of cheese (please see pic), and they aren't had just air pockets. I thought the pernil embalada was very flavorful. Overall I'm very happy with my orders and would like to try all the different menu items.“

“I love this cozy spot in the main downtown of South Amboy. Their coffee and breakfast sandwiches are good, which is exactly what I needed. The Java Dave's special is my perfect order with pork roll (or bacon), egg and cheese with a hash brown. The girls working there are very sweet and attentive. Check it out if you're in the area.Parking: There's street parking, but you normally don't have to park far if you can parallel park.“

“I grew up with Ralph's Italian Ices on Staten Island back in the day. It has been 20yrs since I've last had the sweet delicious frozen treat that is Ralph's. I've been wanting to go back and get it for the longest time but haven't had the opportunity nor time or desire to make the trek back to SI. On a recent visit to my family living in the NJ area I saw that Ralph's has expanded. Went on a whim to try it to see if it is as good as I remembered. Spoiler: It is! I was so happy to see that it was still made and tasted the same. You will not find Italian ice like this anywhere but Ralph's.“

“My fiance and I had Beans and Leaves cater our brunch engagement party and we were so pleased with everything! Danielle was so helpful and guided use through the ordering process to ensure we had plenty of food for our guests. The food was delivered and set up at our venue promptly and professionally. We ordered a variety of items off their catering menu and everything tasted amazing. The breakfast potatoes were my personal favorite. I would have posted pictures, but the food was so good it was gone before I even had a chance to! Would definitely recommend for any brunch events!“
“I liked this quaint lil ice cream or bubble tea spot in Woodbridge mall. We had some wait for seaquest and while waiting decided to try their waffles with ice cream. I ordered the chocolate waffle and asked them to replace m&ms with mangoes. They did charge me extra for the mangoes though. Overall the waffle was freshly made and the ice-cream was good too! Nothing to not like about an ice-cream and a waffle!“

The owner/manager not only has an array of these, he had something for everything and a wealth of knowledge on top of that! I have allergies and he went through multiple products to find ones that fit my needs. He was kind, thoughtful and informative. He even made suggestions and provided samples for my infant that were extremely helpful! For being a store that stocks some of the most exclusive and unique products, the prices were reasonable. So nice to know that I now have a one stop shop for my family’s health needs!“

“Do you ever taste something and wonder how you ever lived without it? That's exactly how I feel about Playa Bowl it's so delectable. I don't like chocolate so finding a snack to satisfy my tastebuds isn't easy but Playa has so many options and is so amazing in flavor. The menu is huge and you can easily order the items on the menu as is or feel free to remove items on any bowl and just as substitute with many other items. It's a really popular spot so you might want to order online and don't fret if your bowl is ready before you arrive the staff will always place it inside the mini refrigerator. The staff handles the droves of customers with ease and work well together juggling online orders and in person patrons. The store has a very nautical feel to it you have the feeling of being at a dock or the beach. They also sell t-shirts, sweatshirts, tanks, tumblers for beverages, baseball caps, and joggers just to name a few all with the company logo. If you don't want a bowl feel free to order a fruit blended drink.....the best treat to indulge in can be found at Playa Bowl.“

You can always bring your glass bottles and get a 3 days' worth of juices at a time if you want to do a juice cleanse. Once you know what you like, you can always call ahead and just pick up.“
