“Sammy's has been a favorite of mine for some time. It is one of those spots that you hope always stays the way it is. A unique ordering experience which provides you with just the right amount of time to have a couple negronis in the basement bar before being shown to your table. Steak for 2, med rare. Hopefully no big changes are coming with the new ownership on the way.“

“We went last night to celebrate NYE at Rosie's... the food was delicious, however we did not get our dinner until 10:45. We arrived at 8:30. In fact, our table was last to receive each course of the meal, and it was just too slow. The bill for 4, with tip, was $650, which is too much to receive such poor service.“

“We made a reservation for 14 people here to celebrate our engagement with family and the experience was incredible!

I reached out to the restaurant in advance to make the reservation and the staff was incredibly helpful answering questions and making sure that the reservation was correct. I then was able to follow up and pre-order appetizers for our group and the staff at Agricola made great recommendations that everyone loved.

Our dining experience was incredible and with amazing service from Marco everyone was thoroughly impressed! The food and drinks were phenomenal which added to the experience!

Additionally Agricola made the night very special writing a card for my Fiancée and I and presenting us with a congratulatory dessert!! I would highly recommend Agricola to anyone and especially for special occasions or celebrations!!“

“The quality of the goods is second to none. We catered our entire Thanksgiving dinner from the Shrewsbury location and it was top tier in all respects. It’s not just the Italian specialty items that are excellent, it’s the whole range of prepared foods. The meat and fish departments are like the neighborhood markets of my youth. The employees are courteous and available and knowledgeable. The people who work there care about the customers and seem to like their jobs. If you’re a food person (whether you like to cook or just eat - for me it’s both) don’t miss this place. I love it even for regular grocery shopping. One note: you get what you pay for and here you get a lot so expect higher (but not insanely so) prices. It is well worth it.“

The crust was perfectly baked with just the right balance of crisp and chew, the sauce was full of flavor, and the cheese was melted perfectly. The toppings were fresh and generously portioned, which made every slice satisfying. Whether it was catered or ordered for a group, the pizza stayed hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Every box was a hit, and there wasn’t a single slice left behind. You can tell Pomodoros takes real pride in the quality of their pizza. Highly recommend Pomodoros if you’re looking for consistently great pizza that pleases a crowd. I will definitely be ordering again!“

“Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“

“What a great Pizza Discovery. First of all, you cannot get any better Customer Service. The Family owned business was highly engaged the moment you walk thru the doors. They have been in the Food Business for 50 years and at this location for 30, so they understand the importance of customer engagement. Their great attitude alone would have me wanting to go back because they are such nice people. Small Family run business, it doesn't get any better. But it does here, the Pizza was excellent and the Homemade dessert knocked it out of the park. The Pizza is unique in that it made like a traditional Neopolitan style where the crust is wet and has some sag at the start of the slice. This is not usually the style with a deck oven Pizza slice, but they pull it off because the dough is so fresh. Perfect blend of cheese with an excellent homemade sauce. They are tucked away in a mini mall in Peacock, but once you make it there once, your taste buds will bring you back. Thank you for a great experience.“

“Beautiful grounds and building, dining room is lovely and a little lively, not stuffy at all. The service was outstanding and the food very good. The portions are not very large but that was ok as the prices were not outrageous. We found it a bit confusing that my husband was asked by the circulating manager to remove his fedora however, the woman sitting next to us had a winter ski beanie on and was not asked to remove hers, not a deal breaker but certainly annoying as the dress code was not formal and the man sitting with her had on sweat pants and sneakers....? Overall a very nice ding experience and I would probably return.“

“Really enjoy Lil Pickles for a quick bite to eat. Conveniently located not far from I-78, the place has a nice local favorites feel to it. The owner is very friendly and the menu selection is pretty great. I’ve really enjoyed their bagels the last couple visits, just the right texture, and the bomber sandwiches are great. The crunch of the hash brown really adds to the experience for your standard breakfast sandwich. I recommend you give them a try.“
