However, the five stars really goes for the people that work there. They are so friendly which is saying much now a days in the restaurant industry. “My group had a nice time here.
Brussel Sprouts (We ordered without bacon) were a hit. There's no designated vegan item on the menu, but you can adjust a few items to accommodate.
I had a pizza without cheese and added veg. There is also salad, several sides and perhaps pasta.
A veggie burger would be a good addition to the menu.
Staff was friendly and our order was accurate.“

“What a great local restaurant in Lawrenceville NJ. Service, atmosphere and especially the food were outstanding. The scallops risotto and Griggstown Brick Chicken were absolutely delicious. You won’t go wrong giving Acacia a try.“

“Had a mocha, the country omelette, and home fries. The mocha and home fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. The country omelette was also excellent: the eggs were cooked perfectly. I will be coming back and bringing family and friends. A great addition to Princeton’s downtown. Excellent service and ambiance, to boot!“

“Great quality, well presented food in an upscale, but unassuming environment. Perfect for lunch with friends, colleagues, or a date night!

As a vegan, the variety of dishes to choose from was a relative rarity and greatly appreciated! I had the sweet potato and bean chilli which was really tasty, well balanced, gorgeously presented, hearty - the perfect dish for autumn. The plant based dishes were so well designed that my colleagues, both of whom eat meat, opted for vegan meals too!

The farm to table concept is fabulous and the quality of ingredients is noticeable on the first bite. Each staff member we had the pleasure of interacting with was lovely, and the service was excellent throughout.

“This is the definition of a hidden gem. Located in the Princeton Country Club (public), the food is outstanding and the chef is good at everything he puts on the menu. Service is kind, welcoming, and very accommodating. I didn't have a bite of food that I didn't like. Stand outs were the braised oxtail main, vegetable spring rolls, seafood gumbo with the catfish, shrimp with Alfredo, fried apple pie, BBQ chicken flatbread, A wonderful happy hour from 5-7pm.“

“Tried Cosmos again for the 3rd time. Was really good. We both had an item that most people don't eat at a so called "pizza" restaurant. Salmon. Have to say it was really good. Good piece, nice size and tasted really good. Will definitely go back.“

Friendly when you come in.. prices are pretty good. The chicken was fried crispy and moist. Wasn't dry at all. Chicken seasoned to perfection!
And the French Fries was delicious ?

“This unassuming cafe is on the lower level of the Carteret Arms apartments. The residence is a place for the elderly and thus the hours are a bit wonky. Provided you want a meal before 6pm, this should be a go-to spot. \n\nEverything is delicious. They lean towards fried foods, but have a great selection of seafood dishes and grilled options. Neighborhood favorites include the island pasta, which is close to divine. \n\nOn this visit we tried the grilled chicken sandwich and the blackened sandwich, both of which hit the spot. Good greens and cabbage, too. The owner makes homemade desserts. There are a variety of soft drinks and it is otherwise BYOB. \n\nThere is a small area for dining if you want to eat in.“

“Was checking my out for a possible birthday party location and found the manager and staff to be very helpful and accommodating. The space is ample and the golf course looked great. I'd gone over earlier in the day and arrived as a post-golf tournament banquet was getting underway. If the smell of the food being served was a good indicator. It must be delicious. Will be returning this week to test/taste that theory out!“

“Nubia (manager) and her staff are lovely and the flavors/variety are impressive! It’s great to have a place like this on campus - a nice mix of faculty/staff and students use this for lunch. “I had a great experience at Iron & Ivy! I loveeeee going to hotel restaurants! I feel like I'm on a sense of vacation even though I'm not staying over! When you walk into Iron & Ivy, you're greeted by a beautiful fireplace and bright, stocked bar! The hostess was so sweet and recommended amazing menu options! We started off with the quesadillas and the bourbon bbq wings! When I tell you, the quesadillas were top 5 all time, they are TOP 5! They didn't fall apart and were toasted to perfection as well as loaded with shrimp and cheese and beans and corn! It was PHENOMENAL! For dinner we ordered the Grilled Flat Iron Steak and the Spinach & Roasted Garlic Tortellini! The veggies were so delicious and it was a huge portion that I was able to bring home for lunch the next day! For drinks, you couldn't go wrong with the dirty martini, the very berry martini and the Soccer Mom Lemonade! It was a great night overall and they have a huge inside / outside dining area! Highly recommend checking out Iron & Ivy and make sure you order the quesadillas because they are LIFE CHANGING!“

“We went to dine with this rag tag restaurant and the experience was awful. The waitress had no teeth and asked my son for his? At first we thought “hey maybe they are joking” then all of a sudden. They lady grabbed his front bicuspid. Needless to say - at that point we were concerned. Because we had a long day we were still hungry. So we stuck around. The next thing you know. The toothless individual brought another toothless friend and tried to get my tooth as well. At that point. We know. Time to get out of here. We were cooked. Unlike the food at this gross place.“

“Celebrating 3 birthdays at Roots Ocean Prime with 8 people. Everyone loved their entrees (steaks ) which were cooked perfectly. Sides were tasty and enjoyed by everyone. Great wine list. “We've been here a few times and have had a great experience across the board. The food is delicious and at a great price. Our favorites are the BBQ ribs, wings, and coleslaw/potato salad. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is a little lack luster but most people order take out and don't typically eat in. Regardless, we love the food and have had great experiences. We'll always come here when we crave classic BBQ. Highly recommend!“

Con - My everything bagel w/ veggie cream cheese, bacon, tomato, and cucumber seemed to be the top of an everything bagel sandwiched with the slightly stale top of a plain bagel. Flavor and texture were nothing to write home about.“

“We were in town last night for a sports tournament and stumbled upon the Firkin Tavern. With four kids and four adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, especially since the tavern was pretty busy with only one server. At first, we were a little concerned it might be overwhelming, but Mike, our waiter, quickly proved us wrong. He was absolutely amazing! Despite the crowd, he handled everything seamlessly and was extremely attentive. The food also exceeded our expectations, it wasn’t just typical bar food.. everything was delicious and really impressed us. If we’re ever in the area again for a tournament, we’ll definitely be back!“
