“Aroma is fantastic! Indian cuisine is my favorite food, and I have tried several local Indian restaurants. Aroma is my favorite. The flavors, portion sizes, spice levels, and menu selections are the best. My favorite combo is the chicken makhani, vegetable samosa, cheese naan, and a mango lassi. I feel like the negative reviews are being posted by competitors. I have never had an issue with anything I’ve ordered.“

“Our first time at Bistro Romano and won't be our last. Romantic, quiet and dark with a piano playing softly in the distance. Service is great and food is delicious, especially the Caesar salad. Lobster ravioli was lightly sauced, with plenty of lobster and tender pasta. My partner ordered the strip steak, which he said was ok but I thought it was pretty good. Warm olives, a first for me, was good but more than I could eat by myself. I'd like to try other options on the menu but Caesar salad will be on repeat.“

“Plenty of options, everything was pretty good. The fried mozzarella was maybe better labeled as fried cheese, and great. Loaded fries and cauliflower wings were equally delicious. The eggplant was a bit meh, the skins were just really tough. Desert options were good.“

Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

All dishes on the salad bar, the sides, and the beef, chicken, and lamb, served at our table, were excellent, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. A fine, fun, delightful dining experience. I recently discovered Good Karma Cafe and I'm hooked! This charming spot exceeded my expectations with its warm atmosphere, top-notch service, and delicious food.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, happily answering our questions about the menu. We indulged in their mouthwatering chicken sandwiches on sourdough bread, paired with refreshing lemonade and iced tea. The cozy back dining room, adorned with vibrant art and lush greenery, made for a pleasant dining experience.

Their breakfast and brunch menu boasts an array of tempting options, making me eager to return. Standouts include the Colonel Mustard sandwich and almond croissant.

Good Karma Cafe excels in:

We don't do FANCY dining all that often, but this place had a great, relaxed, retro vibe with some really (for us) adventurous dishes. First, The Continental is lesss John Wick and more “Lincoln”, as you'll see from the car seat booths. The French Onion Soup Dumplings were fantastic, and the service was spot on. This is definitely a spot to come back to!“

Cornbread French toast was particularly sublime! The French press Kona coffee was a great start to the day. My one small complaint was the cleanliness of the dishes. My coffee mug had a visible red lipstick stain, my water glass had food particles on it and one of my plates was dirty. Just a small critique there. The space is nice open and not stuffy. And I noticed a good amount of foot traffic overall!“

“We dined here for the first time today. We were surprised how big this restaurant was inside and were seated right away at 12pm. We ordered breakfast items which are served all day. The portions were huge and omelette was delicious! I like how you had option of home fried potatoes or hash brown potatoes and they give you a choice of pancakes, toast or a muffin as your side!! My daughter loved her French toast and it was fluffy and cooked perfectly and was not made with those yellow egg beaters like some diners. The service was fast and we were in and out in 45 minutes! “Cozy, welcome little neighborhood eatery in South Philly. Our party of 5 had both lunch and breakfasts. All were big hits! Pictures below was one of the specials-short rib grilled cheese. Had the rice vermicelli with pork and the appetizer salt and pepper chicken wings. There was an ample amount of pork in the vermicelli but I probably would have liked more of the pickled chopped veggies with it. The wings were very good and I probably preferred them out of the two.“
