“This place is amazing, so much so I hesitated on letting to many people know because I want to keep it all for me? It’s such a earthly peaceful vibe an atmosphere, as soon as you enter You are often greeted by the owner who is so real an down to earth! They have live music on Wednesday an Friday (always amazing) as well, an the food is “delicious “ Usually you have to go to Philly to experience a intimate setting like this so it’s a blessing to have this right in midst of us right here in NJ,“

“My cousin and i made dinner reservations at south for her birthday as we were running late we called the restaurant to let them (good thing we called) the host ask for my name go to check for my reservation and he don’t see it anywhere in the system meanwhile i have the confirmation in my email i basically was told my only option was the bar which was disappointing i’m not sure if there was a issue through google but that wasn’t cool. Other than that food was great and drinks were good as well .“

“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“Everything was very good, loved the vegan option of fried oyster mushrooms and black eyed peas (chefs kiss). They have unisex bathrooms that are pretty big...private stalls so it wasn't so bad. The restaurant has a gorgeous aesthetic perfect for photos and occasions. I don't know if there's a Dj every night but the music was fire, so if fun and energetic is not your thing, ask when the boring days/times are. Prices are on the higher end, $24 was the least expensive... drinks were $16 minimum for a cocktail I believe. Our server was nice but maybe overwhelmed because everything was super duper slowwww ...we arrived before it got packed on a Wednesday night... I mean food.. check.. boxes... we lost our energy waiting. Aside from that we loved it and highly recommend.“

“This Mount Laurel location is a regular stop when doing business in the south eastern part of NJ. The staff is always very friendly and polite. Everyone seems to work well together, the food quality is consistently good and the store always has unique holiday items for the next occasion. The holiday food packages are also well received by our family which makes the cooking preparation much easier. They are always willing to find he item you are looking for as well.“
