Ordered "The Chief" and it earned it's name. Everything we ordered was great. Friendly family running the place, too. You better believe I'll be back for more.“

“Have heard a lot a good things about this place for the Scary Good Eats App.. You definitely have to have a game plan if you want anything here. Parking is not fun since you are in the heart of Rutgers. You have to hope you can snag a spot out front. The place itself is very small, no indoor seating, just order and you are on your way. Was not a cheap lunch for 2 sandwiches and some fries. Around $50 I believe. The sandwiches were good. Got the basic Cheeseteak with the Cooper Sharp. It was an exact amount of meat and cheese to fill the roll, which was soft and fresh. Was a solid Cheeseteak. The fries were very good as well. I will go back, but not out of my way. Very Good job for a new business.“

The lady at the front was so nice and made sure we ordered what we wanted.There were A LOT of people around the line and they seemed to have no idea how to watch where they’re going.The food was definitely good. The fries were amazing (very well cooked) and I LOVED the ranch. The cheesesteak was also top-notch. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak was great but not out-of-this-world the best I’ve ever had. Overall we’d probably go again.

Parking: THIS LOCATION IS IN A MALL. During busy times there may be parking but it’ll be a little further back in the lot.“

“I must say this 1st, that I was treated very well at Italian Village. There was a mishap with my order. I called and the owner Kristin listen to what had happened. She said that it would be fixed that very moment. So with that being said, I was told to come back to Italian Village to pick up my Chicken cheese steak. The way I like it, so this A is for satisfying a customer. Another A for the taste of the sandwich. At the end of all this, giving someone the benefit of the doubt is important. My sandwich was really good 👍.Don't forget to try that Grand Ma pizza.“

“We recently moved to the area and I find myself here at least weekly. The staff is genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make your sandwich exactly as you want. They’ve never messed up an order even with customizations. They have started to remember us and know what we like!

My favorite is the Indian chicken cheese steak. I always ask for extra spicy and it’s perfect.

The bread at this place is the best around. Toppings are all fresh and delicious and they shred lettuce nice and fine.

Vegetarian options: Their cheese sub is great and has plenty of veggie toppings

Kid-friendliness: Kids love the subs here and they will make sure to split the subs and put the halves in separate plates without asking.“
