The store was closing but she was kind and personable, she did not give me attitude or feel at all mad that I came literally at closing time. She may have been, but didn’t show it. “The hummus was amazing! The dips have barcodes but nothing was scanned. We were told that small containers were $6 and large $9. The staff seemed nice so I don’t think we were overcharged but we’ve been up charged at certain places so we were just a little weary. We definitely stood out but staff was nice and the hummus makes you want to come back. The pastries did have prices so we tried the babka. They also have a chalkboard menu of items to order.“

We had the best experience! When we walked in my first thought was this place is so clean and the environment was so amazing. We each created our own Poke Bowl and had the brown sugar milk tea. The people behind the counter were very nice. The woman who made the bowls was very sweet. She explained how the bowls were made and answered our questions. The Poke Bowls were absolutely delicious! “Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“We have ordered from Frank's numerous times with no issues. Tonight, driver arrived with 2 items missing and instead of leaving the items he had, took them with him....cold when he returned. Must have thought he was an Indy car driver on the way back because all the sauce for the mussels was gone, box was saturated. When questioned, he checked and said Ooops, sorry, and left. Called and spoke with the Manager who seemed less than Customer Service concerned although did offer another order of mussels. Unfortunately, with the fear of sabotage on the replacement due to complaining, we declined. Should have offered some kind of refund. “I come here every once in a while. It's quite nice, the food is really good and reasonably priced. They also have a nice selection of gluten-free menu options. I'm not gluten-free, but recently, it's been something I look out for and notice because I love someone who is Celiac. Most recently, I came for my birthday, and they were able to modify items on the menu to custom create what I was looking for! (always a plus)

The service was good and the waiter knew his stuff. The portions are large but the shrimps were cold and my med rare lamb was well done. We sent the shrimp back to reheat. The funny thing was that as soon as my wife lifted her plate the waiter said , oh not hot enough. Did overall was just okay. Desert menu was small but okay. Not a I’m running back restaurant“

“We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“
