The only thing that stood out to me was the staff. They weren't rude or unfriendly, but they seemed a bit bored or annoyed, and the energy felt off. It's hard to explain, but the service lacked the warm, welcoming vibe that would make the experience even better. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend the food.“

He took the time to explain the menu and answer my questions with great detail and enthusiasm. I ordered the Teriyaki Bowl and was very pleased; as it was very flavorful. The Falafel as well as chicken soup were very tasty! Very clean environment! The Salad House in Ridgewood will definitely be my go to place whenever I am in town!“

Seafood Linguine in Garlic Sauce, steamed clams, mussels, grilled salmon, and lobster tails with crabmeat stuffing (seasonal). If you don't see something on the menu that piques your interest, just ask your server if they can prepare it for you. “My husband and I dined here for a day-after Valentine's celebration. Our 7:00 reservation allowed us to be seated right away. The playlist was stellar. It was all the music I grew up listening to as a kid, and it made me feel at home. McKenzie was our server and she was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. The menu has so many great choices, but the specials shouldn't be slept on either! Here's what we had: Appetizers: -Brussels sprouts salad with sliced apple, marinated feta, roasted squash, candied pecans, quinoa and tossed in a vinaigrette - Kabocha squash ravioli in a braised beef and peanut ragu, crispy eggplant and a peanut-green bean crumble. Entrées: -Flat iron steak in a mustard-sherry au poive sauce, carmelized onions, and potato churritos -Fresh cavatelli in an escargot sauce, shelled escargot, topped with a parsley butter crumb - Side of sautéed wild mushrooms with sage and citrus Dessert: -Orange and cardamom olive oil cake, assorted coffee and tea. It’s a newer place on Main Street I have been meaning to check out and it didn’t disappoint. I made my own salad bowl with salmon that was cooked PERFECTLY truly amazing. Everything was so flavorful I ended up not even using the dressing I picked it simply wasn’t needed in my opinion so now I have some sauce to make something at home with! It ended up being around $35+ but that’s because I got a lot of add on and honestly I don’t regret it at all. It was a treat yourself kinda tab lol. “The order arrived about 1.5 hours later than expected, but it was a snow day and we completely understood and expected some delay. We were just hoping to receive it before leaving our office. When their DoorDash driver didn’t show up, the store employee and manager went above and beyond trying to make it right, the manager even personally delivered our order.

“We had our holiday party here and the experience was excellent. The staff was extremely accommodating, making everything run smoothly. The food was beyond outstanding as usual! This time we started with 3 apps that I tried. A salmon tatar, raw oysters on a half shell and shrimp. We like to eat and love our food lol. Soo sooo good- Then I ordered the tuna that had a perfect crispy crust on the outside and rare on the inside with a delicious wasabi sauce along side black rice and steamed bok choy. “We enjoyed a gorgeous dinner at La Rocca Osteria, on the corner of Midland Avenue and Portland Place (a block south-east of Valley Road and a block north-east of Bloomfield Avenue), this week. The food was brilliant - fresh, flavorful and great portion sizes. I was thrilled with my choices of the buratta salad, crabmeat-stuffed lobster tail with mashed potatoes and a chocolate mousse cake. My fella demolished the mussels and clams in a white wine and garlic sauce, lasagne (he thought it was so delicious that he even bought a second portion to give to his dad) and cheesecake. I almost wish I’d taken photographs, but I was more interested in the experience than documenting it. The service was fantastic as well - friendly, calm, organized and reliable. Parking nearby wasn’t difficult either. It’s the second time we’ve eaten there; the first was on our first date. It was just as lovely then too.“
