“We have eaten at the new Carriage House a few times since it recently opened, and have been impressed overall. The food has been consistently good, and the Carriage House is quite lovely. We have tried chicken, fish, and pasta entrees and have enjoyed them all. The overall service is good, but as with most restaurants, they have some very seasoned staff who are excellent, along with some relatively new staff who will benefit from more experience. It is an excellent choice before or after a performance at the Paper Mill. We hope they continue service when the Paper Mill is not offering performances.“

The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, incredibly tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes are spectacular—so rich and creamy. “Stopped in for a quick meal before a show, boy were we overwhelmingly surprised at how amazing the food was. The burrata was an explosion of flavors in your mouth. It was so delicious we ordered a second. The staff was absolutely welcoming and explained and took the time to chat. Its family owned and definitely deserves your attention.
