Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. “We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! And he had the veal saltimbocca. The service was prompt, pleasant and just perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Had breakfast here early on a Saturday with a friend. Food was good for sure. However, EVERY person working at this restaurant attended to us. We had a hard time finishing one sentence of our conversation without being asked how things were or if we wanted more coffee. I'm serious, no fewer than 6 people visited our table. Our waitress, Marissa, was personable and helpful; she was taking care of us very well. The 1-star for atmosphere was because the OWNER came to our table and asked if we wanted more coffee. I declined, but my friend accepted. I swear she did this just to make him go away as Marissa had offered us coffee moments before and she'd declined. THEN WE OVERHEAR the manager giving Marissa a hard time because we ACCEPTED COFFEE. His assumption was that she had not been attending to us instead of understanding that women know that the male ego has a hard time with the word NO. Not only should management not be giving a good waitress a hard time, they certainly should not do it where customers can hear. Gross!“

The staff were attentive yet not overebearing and the food was delicious. “extremely generous portions and fresh ingredients at Hummus Republic. honestly i always get the same thing but it never disappoints - lemon chicken is tasty and the garlic jalapeño tahini is a little spicy so it’s a nice touch. the bowl is huge and stuffed to the brim every time - it lasts me for basically two meals and it’s affordable considering how much food you get (about $15 depending if you add any extras). they also have self-service lemonade - the pomegranate and mango lemonade mix is delicious!“

Alyssa made it a point to introduce herself and even gave me a handwritten Happy Birthday card. Our waitress Amber was awesome, very attentive, friendly and kind enough to bring me over a cool birthday candle so I could make a birthday wish. The food & drinks were delicious, my skirt steak melted in my mouth & was perfectly seasoned, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his NY strip and my parents enjoyed the porterhouse for two.
