“We are lucky to have a Banquet hall like Rasoi in the town. It is perfect to have a small or big party. We recently had our Diwali get-together at Rasoi. The Food and service were top-class. The manager Prasad Kadam ensures all goes well and all guests are happy. The staff members are very warmth and welcoming. “We had an event catered out of state and can’t say how wonderful and professional Abhi and his team were. Not only was the food great and spot on but the service, smiles and positive vibes from his entire staff was amazing. The event was seamless thanks in large part b/c absolutely no hassles from the caterer. The appetizers were fantastic especially the Raj Kachori which was a hit! Dessert was also unique with outstanding mithai which I have not seen elsewhere.

“For a $1000 meal I expect flawless service and unfortunately that was not the case. Drinks ordered during dinner arrived while eating desert. Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. Food was good but service needs improvement if those are the prices you will be charging.“

“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. “We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! And he had the veal saltimbocca. The service was prompt, pleasant and just perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“This place has really gone down hill. I think the reason they keep it open is because it’s right across from the movie theater and they have a captive audience. Most of the time, you can walk right in and sit, but the good times end there. Usually, they take forever with orders, the food comes out wrong or has been sitting in the window for 10 minutes and comes out like something from Wawa’s hot and ready food by the checkout. The waiters typically look like they’re running around blindfolded serving 20 tables on their own even though nobody is there. The drinks are yummy like Willy Wonka Made them, and I like the brownies and Jack Daniel’s chicken even if they don’t call it Jack Daniel’s anymore. At least they serve food late unlike the tavern downtown. Five stars.“

“Never been to this place before and the gentleman at the counter took the time to go over their most popular dishes to help me decide. I got a mixed platter with chicken and lamb and it was so good that I wish I had more of a stomach to eat even more! It took about 15 minutes to have the food prepared but it was well worth the wait. Ingredients tasted fresh, the proteins were full of flavor and the sauce was top tier. Coming back again and again for sure.“

“Akihi is a chain of boba shops, with this location being located right near the Rutgers University campus. It was quite spacious, with large glass windows facing outwards to the plaza that hosts other smaller shops.

The shop hosted a self service kiosk, which made it easier to order and find things, as this was my first time visiting this chain. The menu is reasonably priced, with standard boba flavors as well as serving snacks.

I got the Brown Sugar Brulee, which wasn't too sweet but had a nice flavor to it. We also tried the passionfruit tea (called the fruit party) and it wasn't too sweet but very refreshing as well. It is a good compliment after having a heavy meal and you need something that isnt too sweet.

“I’m not sure I can explain the delight I had dining here but I’ll do my best.

It was an absolute joy being able to eat what chef Micheal cooked up for us. Walking In, the establishment is actually in a good hall with other restaurants so you’ll want to head to the back left most stall. Chef Micheal was happy to explain his menu, dole out recommendations, and listen to preferences with food which is a level of service you don’t see honestly almost anywhere these days. We took a seat and waited a just a bit and the food was brought out. Per Micheal’s recommendation and it being our intro to Ghanaian food, we got Jollof rice with chicken, Egusi, peanut butter soup with chicken and fufu, an extra side of plantains and a ginger juice.

The ginger juice (coming from someone who lives a strong ginger juice) was lovely. Very punchy, fresh, and hits you right in the back of the throat. Jollof rice with chicken was excellent. The chicken fell off the bone which was great. It was moist and a little bite of rice, chicken, and plantain all mixed together was perfectly balanced. Egusi was also great, the greens were tender and the meat was a nice textural contrast to the greens. Personally I liked the peanut butter soup and fufu the best. The texture of the fufu was light and springy and perfect which was amazing paired with the soup and chicken.

I truly did not have a disappointing bite here and I am happy to recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good meal. It was a treat to visit and I am looking foreword to my next visit.“
