“I was craving a real sub. I wanted a sub shop and not a corporate type place. I enjoyed it. Everyone there was down to earth and real. I loved their banter with the music blaring from the kitchen. I love a real family place. They had all different specials hung up and even had black cherry soda and root beer in the glass bottle. Been living in this town for about 8 years now and I believe this is the first time I can honestly say that this Deli knows how to make an amazing hero, and I've tried almost all of them. There was no tabouli sauce, and served w pickles,cabbage,spices on an interesting bread that was sort if a cross between a pita a roll.. “I saw the Mr. Subs sign on Rt 18 in East Brunswick a few times going through town. Today my wife and I took a shot and got an Italian Sub for lunch… HOLY COW… what a fantastic sandwich!!! “On Sunday, April 14, 2022 I was passing through cranberry New Jersey decided to stop at Mr. sub to get a ham and cheese. They have two sizes 16 & 8 inch. I asked the female preparer. I didn’t get her name. My apologies. She was very nice. Ask her what size is 8 inch. She said “I was going to get smart and said 8 inches”. A friendly bantering. I was going to get smart back with her and say I should know what 8 inch look likes. Outstanding customer service.“

“Boars head meat on a decent torpedo roll, done very well. These guys aren't redefining sandwiches, but if you are looking for the basics they have the goods. Perfect amount of oil/vin on my Italian combo, wife went no tomato on hers and ended up with a bit too much lettuce. That said, easy fix to take off. Deep river chips available, love that. The sandwich isn't huge, but it gets the job done.“
