Lovely shop, variety of pies including meat pies. I had the small key lime pie. I wish I had gotten the medium. It was so fresh and tart. The Graham cracker crust was fresh, and the lime was so good. Also had the chocolate chip scone warmed it up. It was really good.

I just moved to the area two months ago. Every pastry shop and bakery I been to has been extremely disappointing. I purchased an apple pie and apple blueberry pie her. 10/10 delicious fresh and amazing! And even though my interaction was short, staff was extremely kind and you can tell their heart is in the service and food. Will be here frequently (on cheat days lol)!

I made the short trek to Montclair with a friend to taste these delicious-looking pies. The shop itself is really tiny; you might be able to fit about 12 people shoulder to shoulder standing inside between the pie case/cashier station and the handful of shelves displaying British pantry supplies, snacks ("crisps" aka potato chips), and sweets like Cadbury's, Jelly Babies etc. There's no tables, so don't plan on eating in here. Back home, I followed the instructions the saleswoman wrote on the box and baked the pie for 25 minutes at 350F. It was deliciously packed high with apples, not the usual 1 to 2-inch-high pie. The (HUGE) Cornish pasty is the best of both worlds: a flaky pastry-like crust with a delicious savory, creamy filling of ground beef, potatoes, and carrots (and I think a bit of a gravy). TPS is a bit pricy, but very good and a unique option in our local restaurant scene.

Food is great. Love the scones and almost everything. Expensive, but worth it. Always fresh. Will also bake to order. Very Yum and very British.

I really want to love this place, have tried it twice. Sweet potato pastie was lacking in flavor. The prices are outrageous. I mistakenly paid $11 for a small bottle of HP sauce I found elsewhere for $6….highway robbery! Counter staff just isn’t friendly. :-(

The soups are fabulous... sausage rolls are sooo delicious. Omg the key lime pie is the best I've had.

Smelled delicious going in and that was it. Chicken pot pie was good but very pricey - the highest price I have seen them lately is $15, homemade. It was over $20 and small. Apple pie was very tart. The most important parts of the review are the people. The person who was taking the orders was not friendly at all (last weekend) - it was not a warm and welcoming experience - that is above all what would not make my family I go back, unfortunately. :(

Great selection of British foods, fresh bakery items, snacks, etc. Counter staff is cordial & helpful. Street parking is limited. There is a step up into the entrance and the shopping area inside is rather small so the store is not handicap accessible.

I was in the area today and I had to stop at this bakery. I bought the small apple pie and I have to say that it is delicious, the crust is amazing and the filling as well, is one of the best apple pies I have ever had in my life, and they have also suggested to warm it up before eating it, and honestly it is even better warm. I definitely recommend everyone to stop by this little bakery if you are in the area. I wish I would live close by…Thank you!

As a British expat, if I see an establishment touting the wares of my homeland I have to give it a whirl. The Pie Store does not disappoint. I lived in the South West of England for 7 years and there, the pasty is a sacred item. Here at The Pie Store, in the middle of Jersey, thousands of miles away from the South West, they aren’t messing about. You can find (in my opinion) one of the finest pasties ever here at The Pie StoreI used to go down to Philps in Hayle after a surf with mates many moons ago and was convinced nothing would beat their steak pasty - until I tried the steak and cheese here. Also very convenient for my monster munch and Jaffa cake fix! Sausage rolls ain’t ‘Alf bad either! Please keep doing what you’re doing, Pie Store!
